I would give anything to have Thomas Jones back in a Chicago Bears uniform. I imagine what could have happened had he not left in favor of Cedric Benson Glad we got Matt Forte though...the pain and agony of that year Benson started was worth it.

Thomas Jones is a beast. If they get rid of him it'll make things a lot easier in the AFC East. Then again, they still have a unproven rookie at QB so I'm not sure how competitive they will be in the next few years.

          Send him to Seattle.
I would send him to Seattle if i was the Jets owner, and i guarantee they make out on it. Thomas Jones is getting old, and is overrated due to a GREAT o-line. I feel that Greene+Washington > the Jones + Washington. But idk what do i know?

i would get rid of him if green looks good. washington can be the scat back and the new kid can handle the between the tackles shit. no need to expend a ton of salary cap space for a 31 yr old so-so back.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in a saints uni. Even if he is 31 he could be the bruiser we need PT showed flashes of what he can be but I still don't want to put all my money in the saints backfield....Its a scary place..

i had him early last year...first half of the season...i hated him so i dealt him and then he fucking blew up.

i'm not touching him this year.
I wouldn't touch him this year, but last year he ended up being the best RB on my fantasy team (thank you Ryan Grant). I don't think he's THAT good, but he played well last year. I'm sure he's a pain in the ass, which is why he bounces from team to team. He's definitely not irreplaceable.

I agree. The only team I thought of that might need a running back.

The Jones bros in Seattle? That'd be pretty cool.

I'm just wary of Jones right now...

trade him for some value...get some picks back for the draft...let Washington/Greene handle the workload...many Jet fans are waiting for Washington to get more PT.
