Eagles Make Their Appeal

Vick paid his debt to society. Hell, he lost everything.
I am not defending what he did. It was repulsive.
But he paid his debt - and in the end - they were dogs, not human beings.
I do, however, question the Eagles giving him $1.6M this year. At the very least, he should have come back for the minimum salary and earned those dollars.
That said, I'm not losing sleep over it.
I am an Eagles fan, but the best scenario is Vick never seeing the field. If that happens, it means McNabb stayed healthy and the wildcat worked with Desean Jackson.
BTW Donovan can't possibly believe we're all dumb enough to think he isn't threatened by Vick, is he?

The $5.6 mil team option is basically irrelevant. It means nothing even if they want to keep him. They'll still threaten to cut him if he doesn't want to renegotiate.
As for McNabb, yes, I think he believes we really are that dumb. He still has the wool pulled over some fans eyes that he was Mr Innocent in the whole TO/McNabb battle a couple years ago.Comment

Fan's have every right to voice there displeasure. Nothing wrong with them doing it. It's just another obstacle MV needs to overcome, and now, the Eagles need to as well. It's something MV brought onto himself.
I have absolutely no problem with the Eagles signing MV, but then, I'm not an Eagles fan.Comment
