It depends if we are talking pads or no pads really.

I think if you line up Hester and Johnson, Hester would win an incredibly close race. Hester seems to accelerate a lot faster, which helps him on the football field, but if we are talking full out race where both guys will reach top speed, it plays a lesser role.
