Big Ben hurt in last practice of Steelers camp

The defending Super Bowl champs are holding their breath.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger went down with a right foot or ankle injury in the team's final practice of training camp, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. The extent of the injury was not immediately clear.

Tackle Max Starks fell into Roethlisberger's leg 20 minutes before practice ended, the newspaper reported.

Roethlisberger went to the sideline after the injury where the training staff applied ice. They took the ice off his leg 20 minutes later.

When team president Art Rooney asked Roethlisberger how the injury was feeling, Roethlisberger replied with a slight smile, "Oh, it just feels great. It feels like a car ran over it."

When someone else asked him how he was, Roethlisberger said, "Oh, I'll be all right."

The Post-Gazette speculated that the injury may not be that serious, since the training staff did not immediately place Roethlisberger on a cart.
Not sure how long it's been since this happened, but i just saw it and thought i'd post it.
I sure hope it isn't serious, but if he does go down, i'd like to see my man Charlie Batch get some starts.

    RIP West

yes he is, just in a different way. Roethlisberger is always crying about some kind of injury. For the size of him, there is always some kind of bump or ding the guy is milking. I don't know if he is a pussy though, or loves to create the "Steve McNair" drama of always playing injured and being "tough".

Yeah, he's always milking separated shoulders, appendicitis, face planting into cars, concussions. All those little bumps and dings he's always complaining about. Glad to see the dumbest motherfucker in the history of MM's nfl section found his way here.

Ya know, you type a lot smarter than you are. Your level of football knowledge makes Chodite's football knowledge look like Vince Lombardi. Don't you have a stupid Locker room post to be crying in right now? Lord knows by your days at MM you are far from the one to be pointing out "dumb motherfuckers" Where's your "trippy" little avatar and dumb ass made up sayings? You make Deejay sound like fucking Shakespeare.

I still stand by my words. Big Ben can ball....but he's a fucking shoe in for an Oscar nomination each year for "Best Drama"

you had to come back 10 minutes later to make sure you got all of your thoughts across in that second post? Sounds like someone takes the internetz too seriously to still be worried about getting at someone 10 minutes later.

Here's to you buddy, cheers! I heard ProFootballTalk is looking for another writer, should apply.

I'd rather not read through a 6,000 word essay just to find out ben sprained an ankle.
