They will be wearing the 60s uniforms from the first season against Tampa Bay. Notice the gold stripe on the helmet, put there to appease Tech fans who complained about the Dawg colors but it was removed a year later.

I prefer the silver pants but they wouldn't be historically accurate. These unis kick ass, just a classic look. It is pretty damn hard to mess up black and red though.

I wish the Bears had some good looking throwbacks. It'd be nice to see the old uniforms from the 60's with the white "C" on the helmet.

Exactly. Honestly, if I was ever the owner of the Bears those 1960's uniforms would be the first thing I would bring back.....as the permanent uniform.

Those are the best, but any throwbacks with the red helmets are fine by me.

Reminds me of being a really little kid again when I first became a falcon fan. Always hated the black helmets.

Oh Buffalo easily! Their throwbacks smash what they wear now. Also, throwback or current, Green Bay still has the ugliest unis ever. ;)

I know, I never liked our newer uniforms. I never was really into the black helmets with the black jerseys of the 90s.

I know teams love to switch it up, so they can sell more merchandise, all newer stuff.

All the changing off logos, unis, in all sports, really destroys tradition in a way. It's kinda sad.

But when they switch it up, they sell the new jerseys make money, then BAM Throwback day! Make more money on old ones!! Viscious never ending cycle.

i agree. i love the throw back bills unis. I also dislike the black falcons helmets.
1980 was a great year for uniforms imo. Probably cause that when i started watching football.

first game i ever remember watching was the dreaded red right 88 game. Raiders at Browns. I miss those orange pants

our throwback uniform doesnt look any different the todays current uniform. Those 80ies unis with the orange pants were the only ones that stand apart
