IMO, more like, players caliber of skill on defense isn't working out. I think it's going to be a long season for the Eagles defense....and for the team if the offense doesn't put up the big numbers it is expected to.

I predicted that there would definitely be some transition pains due to the death of JJ. We'll see how long these linger throughout the season.

It's STILL the starting Defense, and a good Defensive Coordinator should be able to see whats working, what personnel can do what against who, what play to run, etc. After seeing that 60 yard, or whatever it was TD pass, with blown coverage, I got scared. Pats starting Offense torched us, Colts starting Offense torched us. Watch, 7-9 at best. Do you seriously think Jim Johnson's Defense wasn't the reason for our success? Defense wins championships. My example is that 1998 Viking team. Their Defense wasn't that great, and all they knew how to do is throw it up to Moss and Carter.

I have no excitement for this season anymore. It's gonna be yet another dissapointing season.

I'm not worried, nor should anybody else after two preseason games. We had 1 starter play on our offensive line, no Westbrook, and on defense there was no Trent Cole or Sheldon Brown. Defense is a concern but it was a concern before the first preseason game.

You can take something away from the pre-season on how a team plays. The score and record doesn't matter but if your team comes out and plays like shit they are more then likely going to play like shit int he regular season.

See yea, the Eagles have enough fair weather fans already.

This defense was Top 10 at least last year and the only change in losing Bradley. I doubt McDermott is nearly as good as JJ was, but I'm going to give it more than 2 preseason games

i have been thinking that the eagles would have a bad season due to
A) their offense will be heavily relying on a 2nd year wr and 2 rookies, thats never good

the offense won't be heavily relying on desean jackson or lesean mccoy. The Eagles have about five receivers that are all of the same caliber, a very balanced passing attack. westbrook is also still the number one running back, leseans just an energy boost when he comes in.
