Roy Williams confirmed via text message that the X-rays on his left
shoulder and collarbone were negative.

We still do not know how long Williams will be sidelined, but it will
not be the 6-8 weeks it takes to recover from a broken collarbone.

Shut him down for the last two preseason games. Week 1, also, if need be. We don't need him to beat Tampa Bay.

Yeah that's what they said last season too, but I don't buy it. The Cowboys don't have any legit WRs on their roster, excepting Roy who I use the term legit very loosely for.

I was gonna post this earlier when I first saw it on kffl.com, but after further researching I saw that the x-rays came back negative so I didn't post anything. Scary for the Cowboys. If this was the case, they really woulda got f'ed out of that trade with Detroit last year.

Hurd Didnt play last year and Austin Battled some injuries. Crayton is a very underrated receiver. They will be fine.

Jesus, that sig is nuts. I'm in Eagles fan and I'm even taken back by it. I'm not sure why we give so much attention to the Cowboys anyway, they haven't been relevant since the mid 90's. But getting back to the thread, I think Crayton will ending up being better than Williams anyway, and that's not necessarily a compliment to Patrick. He was overrated in Detroit and he will wilt under the pressure in Dallas. If Whitten gets hurt, then you start worrying.
