Dear McNabb, chill the f**k out

I don't get why he was so pissed last night.

He's talking about it was tough to find a rhythm because they played vick early. Well I was under the impression that the eagles just wanted to see how he'd be in game action and that it would be better to do this early when his adrenaline was pumping. He acts as if this was a regular season game. Hell since DM bitched that the eagles should get their 70/30 pass/run offense going, vick couldn't get more time

I feel it's pathetic he was the run advocating for vick, laughing it up with the press about you never know where I'll be lined up at, then bitches about vick being in for 6 plays...grow a pair mcnabb before vick takes ya damn spot.

I can't believe he threw the ball 36 times in a preseason game.

when i saw his post game i was shocked to hear him being so pissy about vick plays disrupting the flow. He seemed very bitter about it and i thought this was more about his ego. Vick gets a stand ovation when he came in....nobody cared about this game if not for Vick and Vick is gonna steal dons spotlight all year.

Vick played in 6 plays from what i heard on espn. How is a guy in on 6 plays gonna disrupt your flow. It seemed to me that it only disrupted mcnabbs flow because he was so bitter about vick comin in and playing at QB.

I also thought mcnabb was a whiney bitch who acts like a team guy as long as it doesnt take away from his feeling of being the man. Its been a love hate relationship with philly and mcnabb, i cant believe he has lasted this long with the eagles. his end of the game performance in the SB was enough to show he wont take them anywhere

Oh for fuck sake, McNabb also made positive comments about Vick to the press, saying he thought he performed well. You guys make a big deal out of nothing.

LMAO @ everyone who thought McNabb would allow this to be smooth sailing. We already know Donavon is a bitch.

Is there a link of his press conference so we can actually see what he said before we all start hating on him?

And so it begins. I LOL'd when McChunky said he lobbied for the Vick signing and wasn't concerned about losing his starting position yet again.

I've seen very few starting QB's as insecure throughout their career as Donovan McNabb.

You're right, but dude has thin skin regardless of that. The city's relationship with him only fans the flames.

how do u figure? its not even a top story on espn and the press conferance was after the game and mcnabb was asked about vick playing in the game....mcnabb responded in what i felt was a bitter tone and said it was disruptive to the offense.

Whoa, hold on for one second. Do not place the actions of 30 morons who got drunk and acted like assholes at the draft on the entire city's shoulders. The first couple years he was here people were mostly behind him. After the Tampa Bay loss in 2002 and the horrible start he had in 2003 was when you had McNabb detractors, usually accompanied by Reid detractors as well, becoming more prevelant in the city. However, he doesn't take any more shit from this city than Eli Manning took in New York (pre Superbowl). I'm a McNabb fan and I still hold out hope that he'll pull out a Super Bowl for us, but his national perception and perceived failures on the field is 100% on him, not the fans or the media here.

McNabb will never win a Super Bowl as long as he is the starting QB for a team.

I don't get why everyone is so upset over McNabb voicing is displeasure with the offense not being in a flow, because if it isn't he'll be the first person people will be looking to blame. He's the QB and leader of the team and given the fact that he has most at stake you can't fault him. I also don't understand why people think McNabb should feel threatened by Vick......the moment Vick replaces McNabb is the moment the Eagles are in rebuilding mode. Vick isn't and never will be the QB McNabb is.
