That would have been epic. Well played by Navy.
Notre Dame better watch out :DThe king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"Comment

lol you don't want to play that game with USC if you are an Ohio State fan.
Anyways, I was laughing at the "congrats." I mean, really, congratulations for beating Navy? Even you have to admit that sounds silly.
If someone said "congrats" to USC for beating San Jose State today I'd laugh as well.Last edited by Tailback U; 09-05-2009, 02:09 PM.Comment

Not sure how to cheer for this one. On the one hand, I love seeing Georgia fans get mad. On the other, I'm an SEC chest pounder so I want you guys to show well. Very similar situation for tonight's big game too. Fuck Bama to hell, but I don't want them embarrassing our league.Comment

There are a few things I'm going to take away from this game:
- Very vanilla playcalling... it was apparent that Tressel was trying to keep some things for next week. Made for some bonehead calls and a near heart attack but we got the W.
- Pryor is much improved... if he had set his feet on that throw to Dane its a first down. His passes have much more zip on them.
- Duron Carter is going to be a special player.
- If we tackle like this next week it'll be a blowout.
- Anderson Russell is point blank, a suck ass player. Gets beat by Quan Cosby to lose the Fiesta Bowl... now he gets beat twice by a running back from Navy for touchdowns. He should never play man coverage again.
- Mark May is a dumbass. Newsflash genious, when the defense brings 6 and 7 guys against 5, they are probably going to get pressure, I would think an olineman would realize that.Comment

The same thing happened to ND last year. They shut down Navy's offense for 3.5 quarters, but a few big plays and some poor special teams plays later, Navy brings the lead down to a TD. Not to mention the '07 game. I certainly hope ND has learned their lesson about letting Navy hang around by now.Comment

I'm still pissed about the penalties... late hit out of bounds by Navy and no call, then an obvious facemask on Navy and no call, I mean Saine got up looking out of his earhole, among others.
But meh, a win is a win.
Long way to, next week's game is going to tell a lot about this team.Comment
