-Notre Dame is clownstomping Nevada right now.

-This UGA-Ok St game is sloppy as hell. More penalties in this one than I can stand as a viewer.

-Illinois looks flat against Mizzou.

Actually they're 0-2. Their defense is absolutely atrocious. I think they've forced the opposing team to punt twice through two games.

Put it this way...in this last game, Gardner had almost 300 yards of offense passing and rushing, and scored 4 or 5 TD's, and Inkster still lost like 52-35 or something.

My bad, Last time I looked they lost to Pioneer, I thought they played a bad team this week so I thought they won.

Thoughts on the PSU/Akron game:

- Daryl Clark looked TOO hyped up out there. Overthrew a bunch of his receivers.
- Derek Moye established himself as the number one threat. Really impressed with his hands and jumping ability.
- Graham Zug and Chaz Powell should be the #2/3 WRs; they contributed pretty nicely.
- Fumbling the ball is not how you impress JoePa, Mr. Brackett.
- Secondary still needs some work.
- Navarro Bowman going out in the first half scares me a little bit. They reported it as a pulled groin.
- Andrew Dailey looked great replacing Bowman.

Overall, a win's a win - didn't play to the best of our potential and had some lapses, but hopefully we'll be on our A game by the time we hit the Big Ten part of the schedule. Next week we host Greg Paulus and Syracuse, and he better come out of Happy Valley with some sort of body part ripped off, lol.
