Nice to finally see a shutout. ND still needs to improve on both running and stopping the run. Otherwise, the next game may be a long one.

Michael Floyd with a 47.3 yard per catch average, 189 receiving yards, and 3 TDs is awesome.

I'm looking forward to next week's game at Michigan.

Thoughts on the game:

1 The Beavers are a lot better than the Vikings as they should be, but Washington State was a lot better than the Vikings too last year so it's difficult to know what to make of a win over an FCS team.
2 Excellent way to start the season offensively, with an 87-yard touchdown pass by Sean Canfield to James Rodgers on the first offensive play of the season.
3 Concerned about the OSU defense. The secondary gave up a lot of yards through the air against PSU, and the defensive line did not really generate that much pressure considering the incredible inferiority of the PSU o-line. That could also be attributed to the run-and-shoot offense.
4 Impressed with the talent at QB and WR on the Vikings and their run-and-shoot offense.
5 Hope that neither one of the Rodgers brothers gets hurt because they seemed to be the entire offense.
6 Jacquizz may actually be better than last year and it looks like they will try to use him more in the passing game too. He looks faster and hopefully the rest of the nation will see some of the highlight cuts he made in the game.
7 Redshirt freshman QB Ryan Katz looks like he's going to be good in the future.

Son of a bitch. Instead of getting Texas vs. UL Monroe, the closest I'm getting to ANYTHING state related is Texas Southern vs. Prairie View. Even though I'm within distance of TSU, I refuse to watch that game (SWAC football is abysmal to watch sometimes).

Fox Sports Southwest has Florida vs. Charleston Southern. Southwest and you have FLORIDA?! WTF!
