I agree 100%...my point wasn't that as a player he isn't in that group, but instead he has every right to be upset over his contract situation; however, he doesn't act like a little gril about it like the rest of those fools. I like Boldin and would take him over anyone not named Fitzgerald or Andre/Calvin Johnson.

Dallas fans are still in denial about TO. TO was a nuisance and a distraction to Romo. Romo will be much better off without him this year.Comment

That's a joke. TO was released by Dallas because the media blew the story up?? So Dallas now operates their organization based on what the media is reporting? Jerry Jones listens to the media to make decisions? Are you kidding me?

As to Marshall, I think he should be traded. He seems to really want to and is acting like a little kid to try and do it.

But if Roy Williams is hurt then he will have a much tougher time out there. If he is healthy, I expect Romo to have a better season than last year.
And I'm not speaking just statistically, I'm talking wins and losses, game management, game winning drives, etc. I really believe TO got in Romo's head and forced Romo into throwing passes and playing tight.
I think he will much more relaxed and loose without TO and should really be able to manage his offense much more efficiently.
But this all depends on the health of Roy Williams and Felix Jones. If those 2 can stay healthy I see no drop off in Romo's production whatsoever.Comment

As for the thread goes, the Jets are reportedly interested in Marshall. Broncos want nothing less than a 1st round pick. I hope they just do it and get it over with.Comment

I never really liked the argument about him playing with Pro-Bowl caliber Qb's, because that argument can go both ways. Young had arguable his best statistical year in '98 with Owens. So did Garcia in '01 & '02. Same with McNabb in '04 and Romo in '07.
All of a sudden T.O leaves and these guys still put up good numbers, but no where near what they did with him.Comment

I think Boldin is better than all three of those guys.
If i'm starting a team, i'd take Boldin over any of them.
Johnson is a one dimentional deep threat who's career declined rapidly, like most deep threats do.
TO destroys teams and is worthless over the middle with questionable hands.
Marshall is another guy who has questionable hands, and has only produced for a short period of time.
Boldin has glue sticks for hands, is tough as nails, has great size, can run any route effectively, plays hurt...the guy has it all. He's a much more complete player than tthe other three.
Other than that, I agree for the most part, but I think Marshall is a pro-bowl caliber WR and will be for a long time. He's had his issues, but they haven't matched T.O. in terms of being a diva. I think he can fit in somewhere and be a solid, productive #1 for a long, long time.
With that in mind, I vote Crabtree for Marshall, straight up.S.P.Q.A.

Good news for Bronco fans:
Also, I'm told Marshall is starting to see the light. (I know, I know, we've heard this before). But this is different. Earlier this week, Marshall extended an olive branch to Rod Smith. He's seeking Rod's help again. He's actually listening this time. Rod and Brandon have been working out together this week, working on the body AND the mind. That's great news for B-Marsh. He needs guidance in his life. And nobody can fill that role better than Rod Smith.Comment

It's only good news because the Broncos will be able to get a better deal for him now
He still wants to be traded, yet there's no longer a reason to act like a baby if you know the trade is comingComment

If Bowlen fired Shanahan 5 years ago like he should have, Denver wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
And if we fired Shanahan 5 years ago we would have been in about the same position we are now, which is rebuilding.Comment

Broncos should trade Brandon Marshall to the Seattle Seahawks for Denver's first round pick next year.Comment
