Or wait for one to get cut. Garcia is on the bubble, and Tampa will cut one of those QBs if they can't trade one, they arn't going into the season with 4 QBs on the roster.

but both rankin and russell looked good in preseason
every Raider fan likes Fargas. he works hard, he leads by example, he doesn't whine/complain/bitch and he's the ultimate team player and the only Raider HB with experience.

but the team needs to do whats best for the team and in reality the Raiders really don't need Fargas anymore. McFadden, Bush, and Rankin can all produce more at the HB spot than Fargas and Rankin and Russell can help out on special teams while Fargas can't.

I don't know if he will be let go or not but I hope he does because I really think Rankin deserves a roster spot and that he is a better running back than Fargas.

Going into tonights game, no one was really talking about him, hes been in on a few special teams tackles, but nothing that says "wow we have to keep him".

A rookie named Kevin Ogletree was the guy people were talking about and in the 1st quarter he had another Touchdown catch. Holley, missed a tackle on a punt return and the guy ran it back, but Holley showed great hustle as he almost caught back up with the guy.

In the 4th Holley had 2 catches on a TD drive that cut the score to 31-28, on the next punt by Minn, he fielded the ball on a bounce and took it to the house on probably the play of the Pre Season.

So as of right now its a toss up, but probably not likely. Practice Squad guy is probably where he'll fit into the picture.

Also our 3rd and 4th Recievers did not play due to injury.

The only thing I'm interested with the Chargers is who they will keep as their 3rd halfback..
Michael Bennett who has had quite a solid preseason but is 31 years old. Or Gartrell Johnson - rookie 4th round pick who has looked fairly good but a bit slow.

Shit, I wouldn't mind if Detroit signed him. Doubt we will, but it would be nice to have Pettigrew at the TE1 spot and Pope at the TE2 spot.

                            Bills cut Dominic Rhodes.

A little surprised by that, given Lynch's suspension.
