I know what you mean. Driver is a fan favorite but Marshall's talent and upside is huge. I heard it on the radio a couple days ago and then found it on this link.

Funny how this news is no where to be found on any Bronco fan site. Any legitimate rumor would have made it there in four days time.
Look at the trade from both sides and realize how ridiculous it is fuck tard.Comment

lol at primetime getting excited over what was probably just some dumb ass fan talking about his fantasy trades on the radio.

Leroy Butler mentioned it. A former Packer legend with a local radio show. In no part of any of my posts did I say this was legit and being talked about directly with Bronco management. All I asked about was the possibility of it happening. I realize there is a 1% chance of it happening just like everyone else around here.Comment

Rodgers has great, great chemistry with all of his receivers. A trade at this point in the season would be a problem. I don't know all of the intricacies of the offense in Denver, but it's pretty complicated in Green Bay from what I understand. Lot of options, lot of different routes, ton of different formations. Likely a big difference in language as well.
Plus, Driver is in impeccable shape and likely not going to retire for a few more years barring significant injury. We only really have two TEs right now with Lee and Finley. Finley could take over as the starter soon, but there's NO one behind him. The only other guy behind Finley that could make the team is a LB/TE special teams guy, and truly he might not make the team. He's basically an emergency TE.Comment

Likely a big difference in language as well. A completely unfamiliar receiver just walking in a week before the season would be at a severe disadvantage and would limit the offense as a whole. He can make up for some with his physical talent, but who knows how fast he'd pick up the offense.

Originally posted by ShimShamIf you were going to use a TE as a pure blocker, you bring out your best backup Offensive Tackle, announce him as an eligible receiver and do that. Like Green Bay's old U-71 package from a few years back.
Spencer Havner is the only other TE that could be on the team. And he's a 2 way player.Comment
