And for what it's worth, Vince Wilfork is the most important/best defensive player in New England. Seymour was the best during the first run of championships, but now it's Wilfork's line.
I think you should be a little bit more nice to the guy who got us three Superbowls, Yawkey. Saying he was "all hype" is ridiculous.Comment

I love how the New England fans (who absolutely loved Seymour yesterday) are suddenly bashing the crap out of him.
Not sure how this trade will play out, but Belichick rarely makes personnel mistakes. My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

However I do begrudgingly accept the fact that this a good trade in the long-run for the team.Comment

Think about that statement and then it'll make more sense to you as to why we keep getting fucked up the ass on this trades... And that's three to the Patriots...
2007-Randy Moss for 4th Round Pick
2009-Derrick Burgess for 3rd/5th Round Pick
2009-2011 1st Round Pick for Richard Seymour
I don't understand, Al. What did your fans do to deserve this?Comment

so basically.
We get a comprable DE to what we give you, a first round pick, and one of the best WR's in the game.
and you get 3rd, 4th, and 5th round picks which you can blow on more speed guys?Comment

You're a fucking idiot. Al Davis doesn't care about the Raiders in the NFL, he only cares about the Raiders in Madden. And he's made some great moves so far.Comment

The AFC West is down this year. Yes, San Diego is the best and most talented team in the division but I don't think they are a lock to win it and I don't think the Raiders do, either.
Oakland believes they have a shot at the division this year and this move immensely helps their chances.
They are taking a chance but if Seymour can stay healthy he will make this defense much better. He is easily the best DL we have now. We just need him to stay healthy.Comment
