I knew it was too early to write off the D. They weren't going to show anything in the pre season and it was good to see McDermott show no fear yesterday.

And fuck Carolina. That's the second time they fucked McNabb's ribs up on a late hit. I'd just keep him out til after the bye week and hope we can beat KC because beating NO without 5 would be damn near impossible. The last thing we need is for this injury to linger all season.

I know it won't happen but I wish they'd bring AJ back or Garcia for this game vs. NO. Kolb is trash and won't give us any chance to win. The D will have to play out of its mind to keep us in it vs. the Saints.

That game was just incredible. The defense was just flying everywhere. On that sack/fumble by, I saw Cole lined up at MLB and yelled "WTF!!" But then he just came flying through that hole, and ripped it open. Just awesome.

I have some pics, I will post later tonight.....including the play where DNabb gets hurt, I took it right when he started rolling out.

Speaking of which, Kolb blows chunks, if you are going to tell me he hasn't had enough time in the NFL, I don't care, they guy can't even make a 15 yard pass w/o a heart-attack. He misses guys wide open, and throws it to Celek who was double covered, it was luck that Celek held on to the ball.

I hope they sign Feeley to play against NO. I think he can manage the game better and I also sure that, the D can handle NO's offense. Remember guys we are home, nothing has changed with the Saints since that playoff game years ago. And that was a close loss. We lost only 27-24 cuz of no run D and we had Garcia at the time!

I rather have Don sit out 4 weeks, than do the 2005 route and make the injury worse.

I agree with you. Feeley a better option than Kolb ... or Vick.
Frankly, I thought the Birds made a mistake cutting Feeley - and we saw, once again, how horrible Kolb is. Kolb simply isn't a good QB. If the Birds need him for 3-4 games, they're in big, big trouble.

BTW Dave..........I have never ever seen the Iggles run so much shotgun before. This was a pleasant surprise hands down. I say it was about 50% of the plays.....which is just crazy in the Reid era.

If you would kindly see what time I posted that response you would understand why I posted it. Did you think our defense was playing well in the first quarter? Because if you did, then I guess we were watching different games. The eagles as a team didnt look impressive at all during the first, the defense looked even worse.

Now, obviously after watching the full game I was very pleased with the way the defense played. Although Delhomme was throwing us cookies, the front 7 was forcing him to.
