I'm still not ready to put the blame all on the loss of Haley. Whisenhunt knows Warner's strengths. I've been saying it since preseason - Kurt Warner is not healthy, and I don't expect his season to get much better.. Because he sure as hell won't man up and admit the injury is holding him back. I was the one who said health wouldn't be an issue, and I was wrong.Comment

Well, didn't get to see the whole thing because I was working...but I got most of it. Overall, I was very impressed with our defense. Just tons of pressure all day which led to some big time plays from our talented secondary.
Our o-line was fucking horrible...Gore could do nothing, and Hill was hurried all day. I swear to God Darnell Dockett was in Hill's face nearly every play. And even when he had time to throw, he didn't look comfortable in the pocket. Seemed like he made a few throws because he thought pressure was about to get there. Maybe he'll become comfortable when our o-line learns how to block worth a damn.
Next week against Seattle is an excellent opportunity to further increase team morale, and take an early lead in the NFC West. I look forward to it.Comment

Nice win for the Niners..that last play was awesome! Big win. Just wished the offense looked a little better. That pass to Bruce was nice though.Comment

Who was really expecting Arizona to repeat?
They'll be lucky to win the division.
Arizona still has a mediocre defense, and no offensive line. Warner is another year older, and more brittle. History also shows that Warner should get hurt this season. God forbid he stays healthy 2 years in a row. The loss of an OC, and the Seahawks getting better/staying healthy doesn't help their chances either.
They were only 9-7 last year in a god awful NFC West. They went on a nice run, and failed in the end.
I really wouldn't be surprised to see Arizona finish 3rd in the West.
If Hasselbeck stays healthy the Seahawks should walk away with it.Last edited by Wildcard; 09-14-2009, 12:20 AM.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. I honestly don't think I could compare myself to God.

What's a playoff win if you don't win a Super Bowl?
What does winning a game in the wildcard round mean, if you lose in the Divisionals?
Absolutely nothing. Ask Donovan McNabb about how awesome his playoff wins are without a SB. A single playoff win means jack shit unless you're hoisting up a Lombardi Trophy in February.
You just LOVE to talk about Dallas not winning in 12 years. Where were your precious Steelers from 1978-2005? Those playoff wins they had in that span sure meant a whole lot.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. I honestly don't think I could compare myself to God.
