What a horrible game. Truly one of the worst NFL games I have ever seen when it comes to all-around performance. Both the Packers and Bears looked pathetic. Here is how I would rate the individuals, starting with 'most pathetic':
1) Packers RT Kenand Barbie - turnstile. Garbage. Not much more to say.
2) Jay Cuntler - You'd think after rolling right and heaving the ball to the middle of the field for the umpteenth time and getting it picked off, you'd just throw the ball away next time.
3) Ron Winter - even the officiating was ridiculous. So many stoppages and phantom calls.
4) tie, Lovie Smith & Mike McCarthy - Looks like another McCarthy season, where he overcoaches the team when they get ready to score. Lovie had that great fake punt call.Comment

I was at the game too.
As a Bears fan it was very frustrating. Chicago gave GB all they needed to win that game.
Int #1, Dez and Cutle rnot on the same page, Dez went out, and Jay threw in. Int #2, great play by Jolly, never in his career will he one hand a pass. That was in the red zone and took points off the board. Int #3, Knox broke his route off the wrong way. Int #4, Knox stops on a slant.
Now i know its the cool thing to do since hes hated, but i think Jay will be fine. The wr's need to step their game up. The mighty mighty Chuck Woodson got toasted not once, or twice, but thrice. Not bad since these guys aren't NFL wrs.
The defense played AMAZING. Yes, i know, on the last play Vash was toast. But going into the game, we all thought GB was going to run up and down the field.
And the fake punt was not called by Lovie. Patrick Mannelly made a line call becasue he saw that GB had too many players, but the snap didnt come in time. That didnt help at all.
Its really simple though, bad line play, and TOs cost the Bears the game. Whats worse though, is B-Laks wrist (he is getting surgery today) and Pisa's knee(sparined MCL).Comment

There was a point where Ron was behind the play, and made a first down call before anyone. Like, you really saw the play that well? Why not let your linesman judges do their job.
That illegal contact on Harris shit is every fuckin year. And I hate when these refs play a players reputation.
You guys really call him B-Lak?Last edited by Tengo Juego; 09-14-2009, 11:41 AM.Comment

Worst game ever? You must not watch much football. I've seen WAY worse than this. I dont know about that statement. Both offenses played like shit, but the pressure created by both defenses had a lot to do with it. Defenses were both playing well. Each had their lapses in deep coverage that were big factors.
Why didn't the Bears utilize Forte and their TEs more?Comment
