1) Michigan is much better than expected.

2) Notre Dame is much worse than expected.

Regardless, there was still ten on the clock when the play was ruled dead. ND should have at least an additional second to run another play.

Great game. Tough loss.

Michigan had a great second half though and forced ND to have a terrible 3rd quarter, in particular. Good luck to them for the rest of the season.

Hopefully, Floyd's injury isn't serious. He's a big part of ND's offense, and ND struggled mightily last year after he was lost against Navy.

I agree, but I can't really fault him. Allen got shaken up on a previous play, and if Clausen puts the ball closer to the sideline, Tate would have had a much better chance to catch it. Hell, even the third down toss to Evans was on the money.

I would have liked either Gray or Riddick running the ball though (instead of Hughes).

ND's inability to capitalize on drives in the first half was the deciding factor in this game.
