No he doesn't. Troy P can't help himself man, he's ALWAYS looking to score TD's. Every chance he gets, INT, fumble recovery, he never just falls on it. Sometimes I get mad at him for NEVER EVER EVER falling on it, or taking the pick and laying down. His knee jerk reaction is always pick it up/pick it off and run. run run run. I wish he would have just jumped on it. When I saw it happen the first thing that went through my mind (after I just yelled OH SHIT!), was that he can't help himself. Yeah he should have jumped on it, but that just wouldn't be Troy P's way. 100% of the time Troy is going to try to pick up the recovery and run in that situation.

So does Troy P. Troy prays between plays on the field, true story, I'm not joking or making that up. He really prays between every play.

He missed 8 games out of his first 96.

He plays one regular season game since being on the cover and is done for 3-6 weeks. We will see if something happens to Fitz or not

edit: I still don't know if it is coincidence or not but if Fitz goes down then I am saying there is a curse lol

Hell yeah it's a physical game. You made me think of a good question to ask.

Do you think that there is a madden curse because typically the guys on the madden cover are being targeted? Maybe other teams are looking to hit them a little harder sometimes, or guys are playing tougher against them?

I think it is because they are being targeted but not by other teams. Fans are looking to see if they are going to go down due to being on the cover. If Troy wasn't on the cover we just pass his injury off as being part of a physical game.

When a player is on the cover and ever since the "madden curse" came out everyone has their eyes on the cover boys to see if they are going to get hurt or not.

Just because we're watching doesn't cause injuries or poor production.

It makes it more noticeable that every time somebody is on the cover they end up injured or having a bad year.

Does that make it a curse? Maybe so, I mean if it's happening to every player that is on the cover then what other explanation do you have?

Nobody is saying that only madden cover guys are getting injured, of course there are hundreds of injuries per season. By you saying
If Troy wasn't on the cover we just pass his injury off as being part of a physical game
that doesn't mean shit. The context is guys on the cover. I'm not one to believe in curses myself, but if every madden cover boy ends up having a significant problem the season they appear on the cover then there is something going on. I think teams are playing these guys tougher, and in some cases are being head hunted, because other teams don't want to let that player beat them. I don't think anybody is saying "Oh shit we're playing the madden cover boy, we have to target him." I think every team has a few guys that are highlighted as the guy you don't want to let beat you.

So let me rephrase my question. Do you think these madden cover player are more likely to be injured or have a significant drop in production because teams are more likely to highlight and shut that player down? In other words, don't you think the madden cover automatically makes a player the go-to guy that other teams have to watch/target? I think it makes it more likely that teams pay extra special attention to madden cover boys thus creating a madden curse maybe.

First of all, it does make a difference if people are watching because the players on the cover are critiqued much harder. Yes I know it doesn't make a difference if a player gets injured or not because watching them won't cause them to become injured but watching them to PICK out how "off" a season they are having is something different.

Let me ask you, barring injury, what will Fitz have to put up in order for the madden curse to continue?

Now back to your retarded ass question, no other teams are not targeting the players who are on the cover. If you are on the cover of madden it is because you are one of the best players in the league as it is. Are you saying just because Fitz is on the cover, teams are going to try to not let him beat them? Fitz is the go-to guy on the Cardinals and regardless if he is on the cover or not teams are going to focus more people on him because he is the best player on the field.

Well I was going to say the curse is not real but if Jim Rome agrees with me I better change my mind .

Why were you watching Jim Rome in the first place?

                        The curse is real.
