It's going to be tough to be sure. The way Southern Cal has owned the series for almost a decade, it's going to be difficult, and there is no one that knows that better than the Irish players and coaches. However, the one thing that the current Irish team has shown through the first five games of the season is that they don't quit. They aren't going to roll over if things aren't going as planned like the past couple of years. Regardless of the outcome, I think ND is going to give them a hell of a fight.

Good post padman59. I couldn't agree more. Everyone keeps saying how ND can't hang with USC. We will prove on saturday that we belong on the same field. We have the athletes and the depth now. Something we haven't had in years past. We may not win, but we won't get blown out either.

LOL. Purdue might give Danny Hope one after his win today. I wouldn't mind seeing him giftwrap the game against ND every year. Hopefully, he'll bring Brock Spack to coach the defense again as well.
