    Lol, please.

I've been doing it for years now, and it has nothing to do with Kurt Warner. So, find a real fucking argument to use in his favor, without comparing him to a hall of famer. Until then, there's little need to even get into this again - You'd take Drew Brees because you're a fan of Drew Brees, period. It's not because he's done a fucking thing in the win/loss column.

Leave this thread for Palmer/Cutler.. I'll get around to shit face come playoff time.

Keep riding Warner's jock strap. Maybe this year he'll go better than 3-7 outside his shithouse division.. Now that the 49ers and Seahawks might actually be decent teams, he'll be lucky to win 8 games.

How does no one remember that the last season Palmer was healthy the Bengals won the division, made the playoffs, and would have beat the eventual superbowl champ Steelers had he not blown out his knee in the 1st quarter.

I'm in the mood to e-fight with Nuk...

                QB 1 - 89.4 qb rating, 101 TD, 69 INT, 62.4% in 5 seasons

                QB 2 - 88.9 qb rating, 107 TD, 67 INT, 63.7% in 5 seasons

                QB 3 - 92.9 qb rating, 78 TD, 36 INT, 62.3% in 3 seasons

What's the difference between these three QB's?

QB 1 and 3 had legit offensive lines, a running game, and a solid defense (Roethlisberger and Rivers)

QB 2 has been stuck between a pile of shit including one the worst oline's in the league, and ZERO running game (Carson Palmer)

It'd be nice to have the luxuries that Big Ben and Rivers have had.

I hope you edited out Rivers last seasons stats? or at least put a mark to how he had no defense last year until week 14? You know ... how they had the worst pass defense in the NFL up there in San Diego for a while last year aswell as having a middle of the pack run game.

With all of that he still blitzed anything Palmer has done recently out of the water stats wise.

You mean how they went a pathetic 8-8 and lucked into the playoffs?

A .500 team who only had a QB performing at an elite level while the rest of the team sucked -- weird, sounds like Carson Palmer.

They made the playoffs though right? then won a game (all be it with some contraversy) .... I seem to remember the Bengals picking in the top 10 of the draft last year . If Palmer played the whole season they were on course for 0-16 /Nuke

                      ;)

For that matter .... I don't even remember Palmer ever winning a playoff game

Phillip Rivers was also regarded as the middle qb of the "golden 3" in that draft . Some of the hatred towards Palmer comes from him being taken number 1 and still you know .... amounting to shit so far.

He did what he was supposed to do. Took a horrendous team that hadn't made the playoffs in how long, and then completely turned the franchise around that one year. Gets completely shitty lucky in the playoffs thanks to a cheap hit. The next two year's he threw for over 4,000 yards and 54 touchdowns, but by this point the team had no direction and was already falling back down to earth.

I'm a firm believer (even this season) that if Carson Palmer was on a quality team he'd be a Pro Bowl QB.

This is why I won't bother arguing.

Palmer is 0-5 in the last two seasons.

Philip Rivers will ''luck'' his way into the playoffs yet again.. Has he ever not made it?

                          Moving on.

Can we get back to LOLGASOLing @ the Houston Texans, specifically Matt Schaub (on my knob)? Never will this guy be a legit starting QB. Falcons cleaned up getting 3 draft picks for this rich man's Doug Johnson.

I would lolgasol at Schaub, but I obviously missed the week where he and Houston became the next big thing. I've been looking through threads, trying to find out how Houston became an auto-win during any week. Maybe they traded for Adrian Peterson, or Tom Brady, during that busy week at work, where I couldn't follow much NFL news? But I couldn't find anything. When I picked NYJ as my lock, I was mocked, laughed at, and called retarded. I even had to recheck my post, to make sure I didn't say Buffalo was going to beat NE by mistake.

If Houston/Schaub are actually taken serously, then LOL.

houston is who i thought they were, i am not drinking that kool aid about them being playoff ready. they are still tied for the third best team in their division.
