How would you see fit to fix the QB situation?

I could see them shipping Peppers to Cleveland for Derick Anderson and a D - lineman.

Maybe Peppers and a late pick for Shawn Rogers and Anderson?

He did get the extension. As bad as Derick Anderson is, he's an upgrade at this point.

Jake is the best Carolina has, he just usually has 2 or 3 games a year where he breaks down and throws the ball to the other team a lot. He is still the best guy on the roster, but if Car started anyone else I hope it would be Moore. The kid was 2-1 when he played his rookie year and didn't look to bad.

11 turnovers in his last two games. 9 INTs and 2 fumbles. His play against Arizona in the playoffs and yesterday should be cause for concern if you are a Panther fan.

I don't know if they will have a knee-jerk reaction like trading for Derek Anderson. I could see them kicking the tires on Garcia or even inquiring about Tavaris Jackson.

I'm not sure T. Jack or Garcia is an upgrade. Anderson can at least hit the deep ball. Can you imagine how good Smitty could be if Peyton Manning or Tom Brady was his QB? Of the QBs that seem to availabe, Anderson seems to be the best for the long run.

They gave him that extension because it freed up some cap space so Carolina was able to sign their draft picks this year. I think Jake is going to bounce back and put up some decent numbers, but I'm an optimistic Panthers fan so who knows.
