If McNabb doesn't play than Kolb is the starter. But anyways, I think the WR's on the Saints will be shut down by the Eagles secondary and they will win if McNabb or Kolb starts.

      NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND.

You can only hope to contain that offense. It will be a damn good game but I have a feeling my Saints walk out of it as the victor

I think McNabb should rest til after the bye week. Get the injury healed, rather than have it linger all season.

That said, if McNabb does sit out, I wish they'd let Garcia start. Kolb is horrible, and I will continue to preach that until he proves otherwise. Garcia had success when he was here, and would give the Eagles the best chance to win if McNabb cannot play.

This was a tough game for the Eagles even with a healthy McNabb, so without him and this game is probably a loss. The defense was sick last week, and I think can contain the Saints offense. I still think they'll need 24 points to win the game, and I don't think Kolb is capable of doing that. The Saints defense isn't that good though, so who knows.

Honestly I odn't think you can account for how good the Eagles D is based on last weeks game. Jake Delhomme is poo garbage. It is finally starting to show to the rest of the league. Dude made the Eagles D look better than it really is.

7 turnovers vs. a team who went 12-4 last year and has a legit run game in their own stadium isn't impressive? OK....

Delhomme sucks but the Eagles D beat the piss out of them in every way.

The Saints will be a much tougher test, no doubt. If Kolb starts though, the offense could be sputtering all day and the T.O.P. could be in favor of NO big time - so I guess that wouldn't be a fair assessment on the Eagles D either then.

PS - Scoring 45 on the Lions' D isn't impressive so I guess we can't account on how good the Saints' O is either, right?

Using that logic you are very correct. I didn't say the offense did anything special. It was business as usual. I am way more upset we allowed 27 points. Granted the Special Teams and Reggie Bush gave them short field between Reggie's fumbles and the coverage team allowing big returns.

You seriously just said that the Saints will score 40 on the Eagles? You really think Marques Colston and Lance Moore are gonna abuse Asante and Sheldon Brown or do you think they are gonna have Reggie Bush or Mike Bell run for 100 yards against the same team who held DeAngelo Williams to 30 yards.

I'm pretty sure he said that if the Eagles can force turnovers they will score 40 again. Don't think Sean Payton will rely on the run. The Saints abandon the run faster than Usain Bolt in the 100.

True, hopefully no injuries and a good game. I have no problem with the Saints, they're a legit team. Its just ashame McNabb isn't gonna play or if he does, he won't be close to 100%. Oh well, here's what I think what would/could happen:

If McNabb was healthy: Eagles win 38-27

If McNabb plays despite the broken rib: Eagles lose 27-24

If McNabb doesn't play: Eagles lose 34-17

                      Just my opinion.

3rdly , you never know how any team will play on sunday. brees could throw like 4int (did it last yr) in one game and Eagles defense could suck butt. you never know , we gonna see how it plays out.
If you watched the game you would have seen that special teams and reggie fumbling twice gave the lions excellent field position so you cant really blame the defense on reggie fucking up. yeah they coulda held the lions to three points but they still would have put points on the board regardless.
