lol, man I almost got run out of the NFL forum

Eli has a lot of Simms in him.....maybe not always pretty, sometimes downright ugly...but when the game is on the line he comes through....he'll never be a QB like a Brees where he puts up these tremendous stats.....people seem to be attracted to that kind of stuff, which is part of the reason why Eli always caught flack

KOF, I don't know the kind of Giant fans you come into contact with (meaning outside the net).....but the ones I roll with are pretty objective, knowledgable football fans....

We ain't all like NJPapi, ya know lol

very true early in his career but after he won the super bowl he proved he was a clutch QB.

The thing about Eli, he's not the most consistent quarterback, he's not gonna play consecutive games perfect like Brady, he's just going to do what he can to win the game. And he runs the best 2 minute offense I've ever seen, he's been having game-winning TD drives even way before he won the SB.

Dude, he had a shit game, but Romo's far from a scrub. I could understand if he was the one thing holding us back, but no matter what the media and uneducated fans tell you, he's not. He's got his issues, but we're nowhere near as good without him and I think last year proved that.

If you can find me a better one that's available, I'm all over it.

I don't know Tami, Cowboys are very talented....they definitely have the pieces to compete for the ship....

When that big mofo Bennett is on the field, there's matchup problems all over the place...I came into this game very concerned, especially with us missing key guys in the secondary

I guess what KOF and Ray point out about the play calling is on point.....

Ken Hamlin is fucking terrible. We need to draft an actual free safety. This clown is constantly getting caught looking in the backfield.

Ware and Ratliff are elite players and we still have 0 sacks on the season. Newman is starting to age shockingly quick.

I am literally at a loss to explain what the hell Romo was doing tonight. That last INT is something you expect a high schooler to do.

If we're gonna pass the ball, why don't we go to the biggest targets we have? Witten, Bennett and Williams saw way too few throws.

You have this huge offensive line that can maul people, yet you constantly have them in pass pro. Doesn't make any sense.

We have a shitload of problems here. How much do you think Cowher wants?
I said last year with no real proof that Jason Garret is intentionally trying to sabotage Phillips , and we'd keep Phillips only because Cowher wasnt available. I can only hope.

Those 3 saw maybe 8 throws combined. Bennet mauling CBs in 1st quarter than not getting anything else that I recall was wtf ?

I actually didnt have much of a problem with our secondary. When your front 7 is trying to get to the QB and getting stood up leaving you with 5-6 seconds to cover your guy youre asking alot. Spencer was the only guy near the QB and dissapeared after the first Q. Kudos to that Giants line they played huge.

I am still at a loss for words after this game. Romo looked confused as hell out there, barely under pressure and throwing picks. His last one was just God awful. (his 2nd interception off of Witten's foot was just an EXTREMELY unlucky play. It was a bad throw but should not have been picked off)

I will say this though, Garrett continues to show why he is not yet a great OC like so many thought he would be. He shows brilliance at times but it was obvious that our run game wasn't going to be stopped and Romo was ice cold but yet we go to the pass. Keep running the ball and we win the game.

Orlando Scandrick can suck a nut as well. How many tackles did he miss? How many times did Mario Manningham/ Steve Smith just beast him? It was ridiculous to see.

Ken Hamlin has to play his position as well. He bites on PA all the damn time. What about the blitz where he just ran past the RB? What the fuck was he doing there?

We have a lot to work on (more than I put here) but we only lost the game by 2 points. Losing is bad news for us but the Giants have to be worried as well. Not being able to punch it in from the red zone is going to hurt them somewhere down the line and it almost did today.

Romo had a terrible game as did our secondary but the Giants and their fans cannot say they weren't lucky to come away with this one. They caught every break imaginable and Dallas just couldn't buy one (along with shitty quarterbacking.)

                GG gmen.

because we ran for almost 200 yards in the 2nd half?

and on one of our last 2 scoring drives he hit Witten for a 10 yard pass on 3rd and 8 so your argument about they all being running plays is invalid.

No unfortunately youre not. You tell everyone that you are every chance you get , but I assure you from years of reading your posts you are not.

                          Kwam...
For the record that Witten play was flukie...but shit happens.
The turning point of that game was Pierces defensive audible that turned into a turnover and points. Thats not luck that is preparation and damn good job of the coaching staff to point that situation and call out. Cant take anything away from a hard fought game they played.

p/s Crayton has the worst hands of any guy dubbed having great hands.

I was stating that you were wrong as the last two scoring drives were in fact NOT all running plays. I didn't say he scored the game winning touchdown. You are putting all of the blame on Romo when he doesn't deserve all of it. The secondary got shredded by wide receivers who are not number 1s. We had no pass rush, we missed numerous tackles.

Romo's 2nd interception was a joke. It was a bad throw but it BOUNCED off of Witten's foot right into the arms of Phillips who wasn't even expecting it.
