Manning did above average v the Chargers last season in the post-season . Our inability to stop 3rd downs (they completed over 70%) and Scrifes punting us down into our 10 all game were the biggest problems

Then even after that we had to sit through 3 bs penalties in over time . I am sorry , I pressumed a career = regular season AND the playoffs . How about we stop talking about 05 and start talking about recent times . And if you look at last seasons stats (reg season and non reg season) Manning did just fine

The Manning led Colts offense scored 17 points in a PLAYOFF game against the 32nd ranked pass D in the NFL. Yeah, the punter put you guys in shitty situations. But in the playoffs you must overcome. Which Peyton has failed at frequently, as his playoff record indicates with a 7-8 W/L record.

If you think Peyton played good against the Chargers in the playoffs last year, then you're truly a homer or a guy who looked strictly at the player stat sheet. Quit blaming the D, when they had multiple stops on the Chargers the entire game -- the offense didn't help them out any with their inability to sustain drives.

Chagers' D wasn't that bad last year after they switched D coordinators or whatever they did, and they have some nice corners. Don't get at archer for bringing up regular season stats, then bring up the Chargers' regular season defensive stats to evaluate how they played in the postseason.

He failed to close the game out, sustain drives, and struggled for his team to put points on the board.

Keep bringing up Big Ben, when he was able to actually engineer scoring drives without much of a challenge. 42 points were put up on that D.
