DRAMA!!! Wildcards Top 10 QBs

Going by entire seasons, not 1st half of seasons (Romo & Farve would be on the Sept to Nov list)
#1 Tom Brady - He was the best QB in the league BEFORE he had Moss.
#2 Peyton Manning - Probably the smartest QB in the league.
#3 Phillip Rivers - Guy played on a blown knee, thats balls. Extremely talented.
#4 Donovan McNabb - Was damn good when FredEx was his #1, we'll see how much better he is now that he finally has some talent around him.
#5 Chad Pennington - Before you crucify me on this, look at the stats. Very accurate. Moderate arm strength. Fantastic when healthy.
#6 Ben Roethlisberger - He did play like crap in his first SB, but the tackle he made against the Colts when Bettis fumbled is classic. Big Ben got them to that SB. The refs won it.
#7 Carson Palmer - Bengals win the SB if not for Kimo. But looking injury prone. Blown knee, torn up elbow, now his ankle?
#8 Aaron Rodgers - Packer fans aren't missing Farve, he is the reason.
#9 Drew Brees - Plays in NFL's version of the spread. Same system run by Tim Couch and Akili Smith.
#10 Kurt Warner - Bruce-Holt-Faulk looks alot like Fitzgerald-Boldin-Breaston. How much of his stats are him being good and how much are throwing the ball up and praying your fantastic recivers come down with it?

Hes better than Palmer, and Pennington for sure.
Also, Romo doesn't "suck".
People will throw that excuse in his face until the Dallas Cowboys win a playoff game, and then they'll say he sucks until he wins a SB.
People need to realize this guy has only been a starting QB for 2 1/2 seasons. He was undrafted. His time will come. He's full of talent.
What has McNabb proved to the world that Romo hasn't? That he could win playoff games, but not Super Bowls? Playoff wins mean jack shit if you aren't holding up a Lombardi Trophy.
Talk to someone that doesn't even know what football is.
You- "Romo sucks he has never won a playoff game."
Guy- "What are playoffs?"
You- "It's a tournament that all the best teams play in, and the winner of the tournament is the champion."
Guy- "Oh, OK. So Romo can't be that bad if hes one of the best teams?"
You- "No trust me he sucks. 0 wins while McNabb has like 10"
Guy- "WOW! McNabb has 10? That's excellent. He must have at least a couple championships huh?"
You- "Well...no, but at least he wins playoff games!!!!!"
Guy- "Haha yeah that's true. So do you get anything special for winning playoff games, but not Championships?"
You- "No"
Guy- -.-
You- "What?"
Guy- "Doesn't seem like playoff wins are a big deal if you just lose in the end."
You- "Romo sucks."Last edited by Wildcard; 09-18-2009, 06:20 AM.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. I honestly don't think I could compare myself to God.

I'm not being a homer. You guys are just too blind to see his talent.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. I honestly don't think I could compare myself to God.

It wasn't the Jets vs Colts. It was Chad vs Peyton.
So...
Chad > Peyton. Cuz he's 1-0 in the playoffs vs him.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. I honestly don't think I could compare myself to God.

Ok, I crunched some numbers, Romo may not be as bad as we all think. I did a TD to turnover ratio. Consits of (Pass TD + Rush TD) / (Int + Fumble lost). I did my top 10 and Romo.
My Rank - Player - Number - Actual Rank
#1 - Brady -------------1.75 - 2nd
#2 - P. Manning -----1.91 - 1st
#3 - Rivers -------------1.63 - 5th
#4 - McNabb ----------1.67 - 4th
#5 - Pennington ------1.43 - 8th
#6 - Big Ben -----------1.3 - 10th
#7 - Palmer ------------1.34 - 9th
#8 - Rogers ------------1.7 - 3rd
#9 - Brees --------------1.51 - 6th
#10 - Warner ----------1.19 - 11th

It's early in his career, but his numbers are great. Tops all time in Yards Per Attempt. 65% Completion %. (Tops) The highest career QB Rating in the league.(That was for you Jake) Holds numerous Dallas Cowboys passing records including Yards Per Game, Touchdowns in a Season, and 300 yard games. Not to mention Romo has the 2nd Highest QB Rating in the league since he became a starter, and Romo has the best 4th Quarter QB Rating in the league since he became a starter. But I guess it's all nullified by his 0-2 playoff record . Even though Dallas was horrible the season they lost to Seattle on a dropped snap and he was the reason we were there in the first place. Oh and that season when we were good enough to skip the first round of the playoffs but lose to the SB Champs.Last edited by Wildcard; 09-18-2009, 07:41 AM.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard.
