I meant the whole ''WR makes the quarterback'' theory in general, which some people still use. It's about as played out and ridiculous as the ''put this guy here or there, and he'd win.'' Scott Covington, Matt Leinart, and Jamie Martin didn't look so hot with those targets.

Arizona lives or dies by how Warner plays... and right now, Kurt Warner is playing like shit.
I thought they were out coached. I keed I keed...

Seriously though, what the hell was up with Fitz? It took him half the night to get open. Who was it Spencer that was covering him? Good job.

That underneath shit was working nicely though, and that D did a great job of shutting down Gore for the most part, not counting the two TD's he had, he wasn't very good. In fact the niners played like utter horseshit. I was shocked AZ couldn't get into the endzone in the 4th quarter.

      9. Derek Anderson/Browns - This guy is probably one of the most ignorant quarterbacks in the NFL. He has zero self esteem, and about as much talent as myself back when I threw the pigskin around. Then again, stick him in New England, and he'd have 3 rings.

      8. Matt Ryan/Falcons - I know what you're thinking.. He's a second year guy, right? Doesn't matter.. Stick him in New England, and he'd have 3 rings by now.

      hahahahahaah
Best reason to have a license.

I'm really trying to imply, such an argument is completely ridiculous to begin with. Cincinnati drafted Carson Palmer #1 for a reason, to turn that team around. He simply isn't good enough to do it. A quarterback should be judged on what he does with the team he's playing for, not what he may or may not do on another team, who happens to have a much better guy under center, who just happens to do the job the right way.

This is a mockery of those guy who just can't seem to turn the corner.

Like the sorry sack of shit in my sig.
Did Carson Palmer not turn the Bengals around before the injuries hit? They were pathetic, then suddenly catapulted to 11-5 and had a legit shot of beating the Steelers. Then, the team died as the coaching staff failed miserably without Palmer healthy.

He was healthy at the beginning of 2008, when he went 0-4.

He's healthy now, and about to go 0-6. Ryan Fitzpatrick even managed to win 4 games with that team.. I wonder if Palmer will even match that this year.

So, basically, because he got injured years ago, we're supposed to give him a break?

When do we get over that injury, and start expecting something again?
