    DRAMA!!!!!! Wildcard's 11-20 QB's!!!

Continuation from the Top 10 Thread.

    20) Jason Campbell - With superior than most arm strength, and some McNabb-esque talent Jason Campbell can possibly be a good Quarterback in this league some day. He has loads of talent around him, and a better than average offensive line. With a few more years in Zorns system we're looking at what could be a borderline top 10 QB.

    19) Joe Flacco - Sure he played decent last year. That is why I gave him a decent rank. He seems to me though like he's going to be a game manager, and not a game breaker in his career, and in my very own humble opinion those types of QBs are always overrated. Sure he just lit up the Chiefs, but they're the fucking chiefs. Name 2 people in their secondary. Can't? Exactly.

    18) Carson Palmer - I'll probably get flamed by most of you guys for having him so low, and Nukleopatra will flame me for having him too high. My reason for his rank is the fact is that he does have great talent, but he just hasn't used it at all in recent memory. If he can stay healthy, and get his head out of his ass he can climb the ranks again. That's a big IF though.

    17) Matt Schuab - He's a great passer who lacks in pocket awareness. He has a great release, and is extremely precise. He has some great talent around him, and if he could stay healthy Schuab should always remain a decent QB. I don't see much upside, so he's not really going to be climbing my ranks.

    16) Jay Cutler - He's a mediocre Quarterback, who had great numbers last season, because of a great WR Corps, and the lack of a running game. I honestly believe his best days are behind him. Now he's a team with no WRs, and he's in a way better division, and the pressure of a way bigger market.

    15) Trent Edwards - I see a lot of talent in this kid. He plays on a team good enough to make the playoffs, but not good enough to win in the playoffs. So I wouldn't expect to much from him. Trent in my very own humble opinion is one of the smartest Quarterbacks in the league, and he has plenty of upside. I only see this kid getting better.

    14) Eli Manning - Too low? He's not much of a QB, and we'll especially see that this year with no Plaxico. With a horrible career completion percentage, and a QB Rating barely exceeding Mike Vicks Eli hasn't really shown worthy of his highly touted draft day status. He has a Super Bowl, so that's the only reason he's so high. Eli may prove me wrong, and play well this year. But I highly doubt it.

    13) Matt Ryan - Surprised everyone last year by playing very well as a starter, and taking hiis team to the playoffs. I wouldn't expect the same record as last season, but if this kid naturally progresses, he may be a top 5 QB in the near future.

    12) Chad Pennington - He's always been accurate, and proved in the past he can win playoff games. His lack of a receiving corp doesn't help, but he has 2 great running backs to try and take pressure off him. You always seem to know what you're getting with Chad, and I like that.

    11) Brett Favre - This is a big IF, but if Peterson stays healthy, and Favres arm doesn't tire out like last season, he is going to put up great numbers, and win plenty of games.

No. I think 90% of the people at this forum realize Carson Palmer is lucky to even get the 18th spot... Which he doesn't even deserve

Half the players you listed will probably be benched before the season is over. I don't know how you could be a top 20 QB if you're running the risk of being benched.

        Half the players listed???

        Like who??

Campbell - If the skins fail horribly. They might.

        Flacco - No.

Cutler - Gave up way to much to bench him.

Palmer - like they really have anyone remotely close to Palmer?

        Schuab - for Grossman lol?

        Favre - ?????

        Ryan - you're on crack

        Manning - Huge contract

        Edwards - ???????

Pennington - Maybe if he doesn't play well.

          Campbell
          Palmer
          Schuab
          Favre
          Edwards
          Pennington

You could easily make a case for any of the bums mentioned above.

I don't think Marvin Lewis has the balls to bench Palmer. If he did, he'd win me over.

And I'm telling you, they'd be no worse wit JTO.

He beat Drew Brees a few years ago.

Drew Brees is the #1 QB in the NFL, so it should count for something.

He had some success on the Jets, defeating Manning, and Brees.

Because the NFL is clearly QB vs QB.

I would have Put Delhomme in this group.

I think Orton is under rated hes 22-12 as a starter, he didnt make nearly as many mistakes as he did the previous years, last year. So to me he would have gotten in there as well.

Shaun Hill doesnt have many starts but he has played well and i dont use the hes in the NFC West as an excuse, he gots to produce and he does it. Hed be there as well

Kerry Collins has been real solid as well. He can still make any throw and is accurate and protects the ball.

Id Put Garrard in there as well.

The way Delhomme has played his last 2 games he doesn't deserve to be in the top 40!

But, Brett Favre at 11? How?
He is not going to put up great numbers. He might win games, but it's not because of him playing great football. He won't pass more than 25 times in a game this year. Unless it's against the Lions. But why pass, when you have peterson? Favre is a whole lot better, with his slants, and screens. Which is what he is going to live on this year. He doesn't have the strength to consistently throw the ball down field. He will tire out like he did last year. He's 40 years old. He doesn't have a great recieving core. He will be an average qb, just because AP will make him that.
lol at that not being a reason for a QB to be benched.

You know just as much as I do, that Brett Favre isn't going to be benched. Even if he ends up getting benched it won't be til after week 8. They won't bench him before they play the Packers.

And how is that not a good reason for a qb to not get benched? He won't play great football. But if they keep winning, why bench him? I'm not saying Favre is going to play horrible, and throw 2 or 3 int's a game. I'm just saying he isn't going to play great football?
Did you use to go by the username Aaron over at MM? Just wondering.
