Dont Panic.......
* Thank you to the Browns for bringing back the brown pants. Did they have em last year ? If they did I didnt notice.
* Speaking of the Browns I hope for the sake of there fans there next coach has no relation to the Patriots.
* Norv Turners last playcall was awful. You have to put your players in a position to succeed. Not sure why that play went to Darren Sproles up the middle. Awful play call. LT yes...but know your players strengths and weaknesses coach.
* Ray Lewis game ending tackle was the most impressive Ive seen in many years. Id have to go back to Ronnie Lott (NYJ)starting a blitz at full speed from deep at Safety never slowing down and getting the QB as he got the snap....and Gary Plummers goal line leap against Buffalo that forced a fumble that was returned 98 yards for a TD.
That play was defensive perfection.
*I love Rex Ryan. Love em by default since hes the son of Buddy...but that team was desperate for everything hes providing. I seriously hope they continue to do well.
*I thought Bears season was over ?????
Wake up call , Cutlers more mature than you think , Urlacher isnt as important as many think.
* Before NY fans get too excited. Jets were 8-3 and NYG were 10-1 after 11 weeks last year. Its a long season.
*Its December in Dallas. No turnovers , No sacks, Abysmal stats for WRs ((12 rec in 2 games combined)). Fans and TV analysts all divided on whos to blame. What else is new.
* Manning DNA should be frozen...but its already ice cold. (badum bum)
Both Mannings should have been losers this week. But some how some way they found ways to win. Giants and Colts both have alot of things they need to address...but there coaching staffs and front office always seem prepared and there on field product shows it. Its a shame its so hard to mimic.
*Ill admit it. Jamarcus Russel is most inaccurate passer in the league. I had no problem giving him time , see what happens. But good god oh mighty. Hes got the footwork and delivery of a high school kid. I dont know what a coach can do with a guy this fundamentally broken this far into a football career. Forget the bench he needs to hit the JV squad.
Lasty....we can blame RBs , QBs , bad days etc...but at the end of the season theres gonna be some coaching bloodbaths. Theres some really bad coaching going around. 3 new coaches are doing fantastic.... Shanahan , Gruden , Holmgren , Cowher have a stack of rings waiting in the wings.
