Starting Stafford Over Brady This Week

Yea...I'm sitting my #1 pick for Matthew Stafford. Not only did Stafford get 4 more points than Brady last week, but with eeeeeveryone saying Detroit's gonna beat the Skins this week (I'm not one of them, still think we're gonna lose 20 straight), figured I'd give the rookie a chance. Brady's facing the Falcons and both weeks so far I have no idea what to expect from the guy.

I guess the main question should be...is Wes Welker back in the lineup this week?

i would start Brady, even though they are facing the falcons, they are home. Stafford hasnt really shown anything yet.

I'd still start Brady. Skins pass D has been decent, and ATL's DBs are still shit. Revis shut down Moss but i doubt Chris Houston can do anything close.

Tom Brady should have really good bounce back week against the Falcons weak secondary. Redskins are the same team who are 10th in the league against the pass this year. Let's see, the Falcons who allow 229.5 yards per game while playing the Dolphins and Panthers or do you take the Redskins who allow 183.5 yards per game.

Falcons defensive backs suck, they've only had to deal with Jack Delhomme and the Miami Dolphins who can't throw the ball.

Best case scenario Stafford outscores Brady by a few points but I don't think it happens often enough to start Stafford.

Unless you got some crystal ball that says Brady is gonna get injured or something.

i dont know if i would start him over brady but if moss and welker are both out i would lean more towards it. i think stafford is gonna have a decent game against the skins. atleats 2 td's 200 yards, only thing to worry about is ints. this is about the only game to ever even consider it which it what it seems like in this case.

I do think the lions win and get off the losing streak though.

Lost in all of this is.. the Patriots have looked like shit the first two weeks.. people are starting to doubt them.. the Falcons, a nice team, are weak on defense..

And after seeing that Welker AND Moss might be out this weekend, sounding even better to me. REMEMBER, I don't care if Brady has the better stats or what not this week, I'm going for the points here...last week Stafford had more points than Brady, but one could argue that Brady still had a better game...he simply didn't throw a TD which is always killer.

Anyways, loving the idiot accusations and what not, but hey, somethings gotta give.

if brady has a bad week stafford will only give you a few more points, id rather bet on brady having a good week and killing it for you.
