No. I had a little chuckle to myself about that too.

Through the first 12 games Rivers had a very inconsistent running attack and threw 21 tds -- 10 ints. In the last 4 games the running game came alive and Rivers threw 11 tds -- 1 int also completing 66% going 4-0.

Peyton manning has performed well without a running game in his last 9 games going 9-0.

I change my mind to Peyton Manning. He does deserve the MVP award.

Yup. And I'm waiting for Matt Ryan to reply and bitch about how he didn't receive a vote when he deserved it...

        ...oh wait, that's CJ's job.

By the way, how didn't Matt Ryan get a vote? Regardless, Manning deserved it, but I thought he and Pennington would have been a bit closer than that.

Cause Matt Ryan isn't even the MVP on his own team. Plus 16 TD's and 11 INT's really isn't that amazing. I'm not saying he didn't mean a lot to the Falcons but he did not have an MVP type year.

            ahhh,

Rivers vs. Manning, that's a new one...

people can't bitch, people have been saying for years, look at who wins games,

I don't want to expand on it to much because it starts arguments and debates that no one will ever agree on and probably can't truthfully be answered.

but go to the Brady vs. Manning Argument... and for years people said, and still say, that Brady is the better quarterback because he has the rings, the wins, and he "just wins games".

none of those people can bitch now, Manning has done exactly that, he's taken a team with NO run game, I can't emphasize this enough, we have absolutely NO run game, it is PITIFUL, explosiveness wise we don't match up with the chargers, the only thing the Colts are truly great on in offense is picking you apart and having those drives that keep a D on the field for 30 minutes, and you can thank manning for that.

Colts don't have a score on special teams this year, the special teams unit for the colts doesn't give them great field position, doesn't give them any points, they're just there, we all know thats a different story in San Diego.

I'm not saying Rivers didn't have an awesome year, because he did. I'm also not saying he didn't deserve it any more then Manning. but he did go 8-8 with one of the most talented teams in the NFL, while Manning won 12, 9 in a row, in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL, with no practice during the Pre Season, and no real help other then Wayne and Clark. Harrison didn't have a spectacular statistical year this year, most people don't even consider him a weapon, and While I still consider him to be a key contributor, I'd be lying to myself if I told people he was still a top receiver in the NFL.

I thought MVP stood for "Most Valuable Player", not "player with the best stats". I'm not saying Ryan should have won, or hell, even received a vote. But fucking Chris Johnson got a vote, how was he more valuable than Ryan?

MVP Voting is retarded. I don't see how Adrian Peterson was 4th and Deangelo Williams and Drew Brees weren't on the list and they both had monster seasons.
