Our D went from great to barely good without him.

To say we need him is an understatement.

Without him, we've lost games to the Bears and the Bengals.

How bad is that? Each time, our D failing to come through in both games, especially on the final drive.

It's frustrating seeing how soft the D is without Troy.

Wish I was wrong on how important he was to our team, maybe we'd be 3-0.

Of course it doesn't help that Limas Sweed drops touchdowns and Mike Wallace runs out of bounds on deep bombs which are suppose to go for TDs.

Either way, just goes to show you how important Troy is to this team. He's the best defensive player in the league and can't be replaced.

Safeties seem to be replacing CBs as the most dominant pieces in a secondary. Gotta love rule changes.

Being that dependent on one player tells me a lot about a defense.

its the secondary that is dependent on him, the front 7 are beastly. this happened before when troy got hurt, we just dont have anyone who is a shut down coverage guy.

Their defense hasn't been much of a letdown.....but their offense has been. Big Ben still having thoughts about the rape allegations in his head.

Allowing 10 and 14 points in two consecutive 3pt losses is a big problem for our D. Forget offense, which BTW you're right has been a letdown. Without Troy, that D isn't doing it's job, which is to prevent teams from scoring points.

the d has given up 14, 17 and 17 (ben threw a pick 6 vs cincy). if this offense is so much better than before we should be 3-0. the offensive is horrible and IMO it is time to get a new o-lone coach. ever since russ grimm left and the exodus of hartings and faneca it has been a shit fest.
