I wish the best for the Jets and Brlayon.. but a guy who cant catch the ball usually isnt the best for a rookie QB. I suppose now that Braylon is back on a contending team he might be forth that extra effort, who knows. But that guy drops passes Steeljake could make on the football field.

Just to let you guys know this is a great move for the Jets eve if Edwards sucks and stays 1 year. He will only take the heat off Cotchery and have him get more passes. What they gave up was nothing really just like the deal they did with the browns for Sanchez. Either way you look at it, it was a good move for both sides.

As much as I love the Browns...I hate to see him go. He's going to blow up in NY. Anytime any player on any team with a spec of talent is traded from a Cleveland team, they go on to do very well...

good point stealth. Edwards did draw double coverage alot because he was the only threat on the browns this year. This was pretty obvious by massiqui 8 catch for 150 yard game vs the bungles. While he may not draw doubles with the jets as much, he will take pressure off the other guys.

sundays game was not shown in to many spots outside ohio. But for cleveland it was by far the most ridiculous display of catching by numourous guys. 2 guys had the ball hit them in the helmet as they turned around. Another player had it hit him in the back. others (like edwards) just dropped it.....It was like watching an old follies video.

Alot of this was due to DA and the WR not having the timing down and you could see it. the ball was on the way as a player came out of his break only to doink off his head. Dam TE's

Well he leads the league in punching LeBrons friends in the face with 1.

Maybe the Jets acquired him through some sort of agreement with the yankees. They want him to punch the friends of A-Rod so he can actually show up this October without any distractions.

It's a low risk move by the Jets, but I wonder if they're going to sign him long-term. Despite his drops, he'd be a damn fine weapon for Mark Sanchez to throw to IMO.
