          What is the LFL?

Really? Because I pointed out how far Ty Law and Tony Parrish have fallen from being former Pro-Bowlers to playing with a bunch of guys who are career practice squad players?

            Fucking idiot.

I think this league is a good idea because it could be a minor league and let guys develop instead of them falling out of the league and basically going into obscurity.

And the UFL will easily be more successful than the LFL.

I believe the UFL will be successful, The XFL failed so people think everything else would fail. If people look back and look at the rules and regulations of the XFL you'll see why

That's not what start-up leagues should have to put up with when they're making a legitimate effort to become a staple in the sport. The LFL? Obviously a gimmick, and should be made fun of. This league isn't a gimmick. They're trying to exist to give players a chance to reinvent themselves and get shots in the NFL. But don't say that veterans in the league have "fallen far" because they aren't in the NFL.
Oh I apologize to Ty and Tony. I didn't know I hurt their feelings.

Get the fuck out of here.

                  This is 2nd class football.

Seeing Law and Parrish in this league would be like seeing Griffey, Bonds, Greg Maddux, or Randy Johnson playing minor league baseball.

The XFL was being a direct competitor to the NFL though. It also did start and restart some players careers like Tommy Maddox and Rod Smart.

As long as this league is treated as a minor league type system for the NFL, it'll be ok. But, it's not going to be accepted. The best bet would to put a lot of these teams in areas where they don't have pro teams. Small markets, like baseball has with it's minor league teams. Putting a team in L.A. would be a bad idea, because there's better things to do in L.A. then watch these guys play. Put a team in small cities where there's nothing to do but go to these games.

They keep trying for these big cities, and they'll continue getting these horrible attendances and the league is going to fold after a few years.

it's guys like you who won't let this league succeed, because if someone thinks this league is 2nd rate, you start stupid ass arguments.

I tried,,,but that game is a complete mess. 7 fumbles, neither team can even get in a flow because of the weather, it's a mess.

The UFL game actually turned out to be a pretty good game. Here's hoping Nebraska-Mizzou gets interesting.

JP Losman has looked decent, but the WRs on both teams are dropping easy balls left and right.
