The effect of the uncapped year is overated in terms of teams buying up all the great players.

Snyder has been trying that for years and nobody can remember the last time Washington won a playoff game ('99?)

The uncapped year will have the biggest effect on teams being able to resign their own free agents that otherwise would have gotten away. First round picks will benefit, too.

Salary cap doesnt stop teams from being stingy or stupid.

Even spending a ton doesnt guarantee wins.

Id be more worried that there arent any dominant teams , or units less than worried about the bottom rung teams.
Best reason to have a license.

What!? Bad teams play each other? You don't say.

Sucks, especially since you only have something like 13 other games to choose from each week.

Yeah and most people will choose to not watch those games, which is why I posted them in a "are people expected to watch some of these games?" thread.

That's matterless ..... in my time of watching I have never seen so many BAD teams . The worst thing is .... some of these teams just don't give a fuck .

Barring the odd good game it seems to be a big load of blowouts or close horrible games between two teams that are almost unwatchble (see Bills : Browns)

This year the good teams are really good, and the bad teams are really bad. This year for football just seems wack. Other than getting niners games in my area in cali (niner fans) they give us the shitty ass raiders. Not to mention the titans pats game. Im getting direct tv next year this is bullshit. The NBA year will make up for it i can't wait

Every week my friends and I comment how bad the NFL is, and every week it gets worse..lol.

Bad coaching? Bad QB play? Whatever the case I never remember the games being this bad. Sure their are a few blow outs, but the majortiy of games are pretty bad. And Yes some people are saying yes their are a bunch of very good teams and some very bad teams. But the good teams really aren;t that good, just seem very good because everyone else is so bad this year.

                      The overall quality is bad.

Right now we have 6 1 PM games going on.

4 of the games teams have double digit leads already in the 1st qtr and 3 of them are 14 points are more. Really bad football week in and week out.

At just about halftime of 6 1 PM games.

                        1 team is down 14.
                        1 team is down 17.
                        3 teams are down 18.

Only one close game out of 6???

I'd much rather have to avoid watching a blowout or two every few weeks than to have to watched mediocre teams mistake each other to death week in and week out.

At this point I'll take close games.

3 of the 5 4 PM games teams have 21 point leads. (Granted Saints might come back).

4 of 6 games at 1 PM teams won by 28 pts or more.

So out of 11 games, 4 were close????
