Why this year's draft will be different.

This year's draft will be filled with more players and talent than usual.
Maybe the prospect of talent will be higher. Not every player translates into a great NFL player.

    The real question is

Who is the next young WR to fuck themselves up by listening to Deion Sanders

Infact I should make a sweepstakes thread on it

On topic : I agree ..... some players will be seeing the MONEY

While a lot of players will see the risks of a year with no minimum, I also see quite a few of the bigger names to read more into the potential giant payoff from an uncapped year.

My prediction: greater depth of non-senior talent, but not as many elite talents as usual

or I could be way off, who knows

There's definitely going to be a spike in the number of underclassmen declaring. In theory, this could be the most talent rich class for some time to come based on numbers alone.

I think Dez Bryant already has to some extent.

This is going to be a deep draft with a lot of good players going late. On the flip side there are going to be a lot of early round busts too.

There will be a lot of quality undrafted free agents as well. It might be very tough for a lot of guys to make rosters come next summer once camps get underway.

2nd round pick. Probably by a team who isn't looking for a starting QB.

Im thinking the Jags as well. He is so recognized in Jacksonville which may help get their fanbase back.

Jax will do it just to save their franchise. I think it's stupid on a football level but on a business level it makes sense.

                      Fullbacks block. Can Tebow block?

I don't think the uncapped year is going to be the reason leading to a ton of underclassmen coming out. Teams aren't going to throw out even more money at them just because of one year with no cap. The guys would be stuck to 6 year contracts before they could even become free agents. They have more to lose by coming out this year, then they do by staying. The rookie pay scale, if that gets put in, will probably cause a lot of players to come out early.

Jacksonville already has a good FB in Greg Jones, so Tebow would not get any time on the field as one...he would have to either be a change of pace QB (though Garrard can run and has better throwing technique), or he'll be an h-back. He's not elusive, he just takes on defenders. I honestly can't wait to see him take on a player like Ray Lewis or Adrian Wilson and see who comes out on top.
