Not even the 2000 Ravens defense could get this team to the playoffs. And the 2000 Ravens had to finish 12-4 and still didn't even win their division. I mean, offensively, the Raiders are... offensive. The Raiders are barely even in the Wildcard race. I don't see them even getting close to 8-8.

I suppose if the Broncos charter jet flies into the Chiefs charter jet and debris lands on Philip Rivers killing him instantly.. then the Raiders have a shot at the postseason.

Denver, New England, Indianapolis, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, New York, San Diego...that's eight teams that are without a doubt better than the Raiders. There's only six playoff spots.

You guys would need at least ten wins to even be in consideration in the ultra-competitive AFC....so you'd need to win 8 of your last 10 games. Looking over the schedule, I can see three wins (Kansas City, Washington, Cleveland). That's a 5-11 record. Hell, let's say just for kicks that you surprise two other teams. That's 7-9.

There is no way in hell the Oakland Raiders will make the playoffs. End of discussion.
Based on their play through the first 6 weeks of the season, there is no way in hell the Raiders can make the playoffs (obviously).

But I believe they can improve and get better in the next 10 weeks.

Improve enough to make the playoffs? No. But I'll just be happy with some improvement. If the Raiders can win 7 games I'll be happy and pleasantly surprised.
