Commissioner Goodell just said he wants an actual NFL team in London. This has been talked about before, but I just wanted to re-iterate what a bad idea I think this is. Do college kids want to bust their asses in college for 3+ years to prove themselves worthy of an NFL roster, only to have to move to a country that damn near none of them have been to?

Horrible idea...bad for the league, bad for the players.

Well as my experience of busting my ass to be in the US army and my first duty station was... germany. I will say it was awesome. I can see people actually enjoying the idea of living in lets say london for a couple years, not exactly the norm for most people. I can see it becoming a hit amongst players...
