Alabama pushed our home and home back to next year. That's why we picked up Eastern Illinois.

Syracuse was scheduled years back because we figured they would be back on the uprise under Greg Robinson. Obviously, that didn't happen and we look bad because of that.

im just sayin PSU is like ND. Before PSU joined the big 10 they played no one and since they've joined the big 10 they dont schedule any moderately-difficult OOC games.

Didn't you listen to what I said? Not all OOC games are scheduled the year before the next season. Syracuse was scheduled a few years in advance. Like I said, Penn State and Syracuse both thought that the Orange would return to national prominence and that didn't work out. We had a home and home with Notre Dame in 2006 and 2007. Did we think that they would suck dick in 2007 when we scheduled the game? Obviously not.

Sure you have your Temples (who are 6-2 and the second best team in the MAC, BTW) and your FCS opponents, but just about every damn school has them on their schedule. Don't think Penn State made a less than stellar OOC conference on purpose, especially when they were setting up that "marquee" game for each season (ex. OSU/USC, VT/Bama) a while back.
