As a Green Bay Packers fan, I'm not afraid to say Rodgers is very overrated.

He was top 5 just yesterday here at VSN.

      Ahead of Tony Romo.

All the announcers bitch and moan about how the Packers need to get better up front and we'd be so much better if our offensive line didn't give up so many sacks. NEWSFLASH: Aaron Rodgers is responsible for about 70% of the sacks he takes.

Still one of the better QBs in the league IMO. Clearly played poorly today but what QB doesn't have a bad days. He has a lot to work on though, particularly getting rid of the damn ball.

This team is a mess. Today's loss is flat out embarrassing and the reaction both by fans and the organization will be interesting to say the least.

I've noticed that. A lot of the time he has me thinking ''what the fuck?'' Until you mentioned it, I just thought it was me nit picking again.

I'm not a hater at all, though... but wow, losing to Josh Freeman.

I'm not even exaggerating by saying 70%. I honestly might be understating it.

He just holds onto the ball forever. I don't know if it is offensive scheming or what, but it seems like there is never anything underneath.

He is... and could be top 5 material, in the near future. But throwing a guy on the top 5, without seeing two full seasons, is jumping the gun. A player doesn't even qualify for my top 10, until I see at least two seasons from the guy.

Blame the line, blame the defense, but a blind man can see Rodgers has a few flaws, that need some serious working on.

                        West. Coast. Offense.

Two of the three interceptions(third being a tip) were unnecessary deep passes. When we pass short, and run the ball we play MUCH better. McCarthy obviously cant see that.

I think Rodgers is a top 10 QB in the league with the talent to be a top 5 QB. My two biggest gripes against him are that he holds the ball too long and that he does NOT elevate the level of play from his teammates.

I can agree with pretty much all that. I wouldn't throw him in the top 5 even as a Packers fan. I probably would top 10 but thats purely off a year and a half. Completely understand and agree that to truly know you have to wait more than just a season and a half.

Rodgers will be fine assuming he's not dead by seasons end. This team, I'm not so sure of. MM and TT's hot seat in GB just went from warm to scalding lava hot.
