Rookie of the Year, So far?

So with the season halfway through what rookies to you stood out this season so far?

My Picks:

Offensive
1) Percy Harvin- He has given a spark to the KR and has been a solid receiver for Brett Favre.

2) Mark Sanchez- Even though he made a lot of mistakes he still has made some good choices as well. Te team is 4-4 and he's steadily improving which is a good sign from a rookie QB.

Defensive
1) Jairus Byrd- Haven't seen too much of him besides a few games where he had 2 picks, if he can stay consistent and put up some more solid #'s the ROTY can be his.

2) Brian Cushing- His #'s stand out to me he has done a little of everything so far for the Texans and has helped the defense improve. Don't know if he has made are huge difference but so far he has been everything the Texans drafted him for.

Still early in the year kinda hard to say who will win it, but who are you favorites half way through the season?

Yeah I can't argue with Harvin and Byrd, Byrd has been a complete beast this year.

mike wallace has to be in the discussion for offense.

Yeah for offense now that I think about it, I think it's between Hakeem Nicks or Mike Wallace. Defense it has to be between Cushing and Byrd, Orakpo could be a little sleeper, but I'd have to go with Nicks and Byrd right now.

Harvin, definitely for me. His stats don't really jump out at you, but he's had a huge impact in a lot of the games he's played.

No really stands out on defense, I'll just say Cushing.

If they counted presence instead of stats, Rey Maulauga would be in discussion but Cushing will likely win DROTY and Harvin will probably win OROTY.... neither will really deserve it though.
