I'm being a realist here and saying the Indians will make some noise this season. They'll get Pronk back and after his surgery he says he's good to go. Still need to fill some holes but I think Cleveland has a decent squad, went 81-81 last year, ten more wins in the W column and we're looking to make playoffs.

Thank you, I agree. I don't think they get the pub for it at all. It's a great division.

St. Louis didn't do much in the off-season; I wish we could have landed Peavy. Bullpen still sucks, so we'll miss the playoffs again.

I think Rodney will rebound, and maybe Zumaya. But Brandon Lyon is supposed to make a decision this week on where hes going and Detroit is a frontrunner for him, he had 26 saves last year.
I have to disagree, for over a decade the AL East has been the most competitive division in baseball. Look at the Yankees and the Red Sox and most recently the Rays. They fight all the way to the end of the season for a playoff spot and most of the time the wildcard goes to an AL East team.

Don't get me wrong there are a lot of good teams in the AL Central but its not nearly as competitive as the AL East.

              AL East____________AL Central
              Rays > White Sox,Indians,Tigers,Twins
              Red Sox > White Sox,Indians,Tigers,Twins
              Yankees > White Sox,Indians,Tigers,Twins
Blue Jays > Indians at least

So the Final Verdict is....AL EAST > AL CENTRAL.... so STFU this isn't even debatable lol....

Hopefully having a full year of Webb and Haren being healthy along with the young hitters progressing gives the D'Backs a chance out in the west. After all, that is a weak division compared to most.

Cubs should win their division. No excuse not too. The Central look's weak. It's just what we do i n the playoffs if we get there.

The Peavy Deal has to be comming soon.

Your division is so overrated you forgot to put Baltimore in your argument so you lose by default. And you forgot Kansas City for the Central, so I'm guessing your just arguing for the sake of arguing? In other words your the Jax of baseball!

you cant say that Clutch because last year before the Dodgers got Manny all 5 of those teams could won the division and that divsion sucked so just ebcause all 5 were in the race didnt make it the best division.

One man doesn't change the whole face of the division, the Dodgers just got hot when they needed to, Manny or not.

Its not like cleveland will be 75-79 and in the race for the Central, this division has 4 teams more than capable of winning 85+ games. thats just how i think the central will be this year.
75-79 and NOT in the race for the central? This year that could be possible. The central beats up on itself, a lot of the time it's really only a five game shift one way or the other and that just means one team swept when they were at home, and stole a series on the road. Unless your Kansas City, but Cleveland trailed even them early on in the season last year.
