Looks like they have a solid coach in Schwartz...how do you Lion fans feel about this?

    There's still Lions fans left?!

i dont like this pick simply because of that. no offense but the front 4 of the lions blows. front 4 pressure was what they lived off in tennesee and that kind of personel isnt there in detroit.
Their d-line didnt suck at all...Redding, Devries, and White are very good...its called injuries...when those 3 are on the field at the same time they do get pressure...no offense but your observations blow...in every single post you make

To be perfectly honest, it's moves like this that prove why we're such a shitty organization. Hmm.. a guy with no head coaching experience/no people skills, a former scout for the 1993-1995 Cleveland Browns (they drafted exceptional talent like Dan Footman and Craig Powell), a defensive coordinator for a team run almost 100% by the head coach and wasn't really all that spectacular up until the past two seasons, no background whatsoever in working with a single offensive player, and oh yeah, NO HEAD COACHING EXPERIENCE/PEOPLE SKILLS. Detroit isn't the greatest place to learn as you go, ask Marinelli.

I hope I'm wrong. I really do. But the circle we went in with Marinelli is exactly what's gonna happen to this guy. We keep picking the same kind of guys and getting no results, you'd think maybe we'd try something else. Here's to another 3-5 years in the shitter.

Marinelli was a fucking d-line coach, its completely diffrent. And our offensive coordinator will be the guy talking to the offensive guys lol. Theres a reason a 7th round pick like Finnegan turns all pro or Vanden Bosch went from no name to pro bowl. This guy helped them develop. You guys say its the players not the system, but there defense was made up of longshots and no names they were good after they got there.

Yeah but now that he's head coach he's not going to have a great chance to develop players like he did in Tennessee because he has to worry about the entire team. Now his job is to develop the coordinators and other coaches to do what he did as a coordinator in Tennessee, and is he capable of doing that? We'll see.

I hope you're right, like I said, I want nothing but the best for this team. I just don't see it happening with this guy.
