I agree up to this point..

But they're not a better team with Polamalu in the lineup. Up to this point Polamalu has missed more games then he's played. So technically you're right.

But there's still a lot of season left, and the playoffs. I'll take the champs over an upstart team as they've proven to do it time and time again when it matters most. As long as Troy's there, anyway.

The Bengals are legit. Possibly a super bowl caliber team.

jesus christ. stfu kronstar you bowl cut wearin faggot!

the bungles front four made us look like idiots today and it cost us the game. The D did its job and held them to field goals but the offense gagged it out in the red zone and a lack of any kind of push up front made a running game impposible. the bungles out played the steelers today, even with troy in the game we would have lost. troy is the man but he cannot play on the o-line too.

and a double fuck you for making have to thank a post by dave.

Bengals deserve all the props they get. Swept both Baltimore and Pitt and now watch Cleveland beat them...

Grossman has won more playoff games than Carson Palmer.

But the Steelers still had Ben Roethlisberger who is, according to you, on pace to become one of the greatest ever. Amazingly, he couldn't lead his team to victory.

From what I've seen this year, the Steelers offense is still a work in progress. They still can't run the ball as well as they used to. This limits their options in the red zone...its basically Roethlisberger running around trying to make something happen on his own. The Bengals were able to sack/pressure Roethlisberger in the redzone, and this made the Steelers settle for FGs every time.

I thought the Steelers defense played well, but Polamalu is the guy who creates turnovers and can create defensive TDs. A defensive TD would have won the game for the Steelers IMO, but with Polamalu not playing the Steelers D couldn't create their own chances.

I think the Steelers are a good team, but without Polamalu they are dependent on the other team screwing up on their own volition.
