Why don't you talk to Herbstreit? Besides, how is deciding not to step out on your current contract make you a bad guy? Sure Lloyd Carr and Michigan were disappointed, but they were trying to steal someone's coach. He's a bad person for honoring his deal?

        Not what I'm talking about

As long as Lloyd is at Michigan, Les Miles will never be the head coach of the Wolverines because of the way Miles recruited against Carr by telling recruits that Carr was old and ill and dying, etc. (Specifically Jai Eugene)

LOL I never heard that. Jai decided to stay because he birthed a daughter a few months before NSD, and wanted to be near home for. Not to mention, he probably wanted to win a Nat'l Championship like his idol, Ed Reed.

But who cares what Lloyd Carr thinks anyway?

Did you see the video where miles was denying that he told jordan to spike it and they have him on video doing the spike motion?

I did, very tough to see. It's embarrassing to lose, but even worse when we don't have our story straight post-game. I feel for Jordan Jefferson and Coach Miles both, they were put in a bad situation, having to blame the other to save face. You could tell that was a lot for a 19 year old to explain, knowing it would expose his coach.

To have a camera and mic shoved in your face minutes after that disaster has gotta be hard. Miles didn't handle it well, IMO. He should have said "Well, we initially wanted to spike it, then once we realized there was only one second, tried to change the call, but Jordan couldn't hear us and with the play clock ticking, he did what we asked him. We regret that we couldn't get the word to him sooner, and that we put him in such a position."

But the man has been second-guessed enough, I know he's working hard each and every day and nobody feels worse than he does. It's easy for fans to criticize when we really have no idea what it's like.

I heard that Michigan is going to hire Carr as their new AD, and Carr's first order of business will be to fire Dick Rod.
