That's why it was the last factor listed. Brees stats and wins basically float him up the list.

I can show you proof, that Kurt Warner can win without Martz/Faulk.

        Just sayin'.
Yes, Getting offensive rookie of the year, Getting more yards from Scrimmage than Terrell Davis in his 2,000 yard season, and being 4th in total receptions while playing the running back position in the same season is complete proof the man couldn't do anything to help the Colts Win.

Not only was the man a key part of getting Indy to the 95 championship game (which he didn't play in because of injury), but the man for a while was the only reason we actually won games when football in Indianapolis REALLY got ugly.

Barry Sanders couldn't do shit with Detroit 8 or 9 of the 10 years he was there. didn't make him any less of a player.

Well, we can't really fault Barry Sanders, can we? Unlike Marshall Faulk, Barry Sanders wasn't riding on the jock strap of a two time MVP, hall of fame quarterback. Having a guy like Kurt Warner under center, isn't exactly a tough life in the NFL, you know? Just ask Tim Hightower.

Tim Hightower averaged, what? 1.9 yards per carry last year? He got an NFC Championship, and a first class trip to his very first superbowl. Faulk was a fine compliment to Warner. Notice the bolded text?

          Thanks, Kurt.

Assuming he plays next year and doesn't get hurt, he will get the 11 games for sure.

Nuk Every big time player is just a compliment to warner? Maybe Warner was/is just a compliment to them. Kurt Warner with out his compliments is still bagging groceries, because he couldn't do anything. Amazing what a yr makes doesn't it?

IF Warner came into STL the Yr before the GSOT where his best rushers whould have been someguy named Henley and Robert Holcombe. His Best WR targets would have been Ricky Phroel and Amp lee out of the backfield, because Bruce got hurt 5 games in. Kurt Warner would be bagging groceries right now.

You could say that about any NFL quarterback.
Of course the supporting cast is a factor.

Hell - look at Jay Cutler - in Denver, he's a 4,000 yd franchise QB. In Chicago, he's trash.

yeah, but nuk doesn't seem to realize that the Compliments were good before he got there(Faulk, Bruce, holt being a 1st rd pick)(boldin already put up a 100 rec season, FITZ was a can't miss prospect who put up a pretty good rookie season). IF they were all comliment Bruce and Holt should have had their best yrs with him, but Bruce had better yrs before and just as good after Warner left STL. Torry Holt Had his best yrs after warner. Boldins best yr came without Warner. Sorry, but Warner is just a compliment to the great talent around him not the other way around...Once Warner leaves and the Cards bring in a decent/good QB to replace him I am sure Fitz and Boldin(if he is still a card) will not miss a beat and if history repeats Fitz will go on to play his best Football of his career. stats don't lie...

I hear what you're saying, but it still doesn't diminish Warner's accomplishments.
IMO, he's a first ballot Hall of Famer.
Yes he had down years, but they were injury-related.

The man helped resurrect two franchises, has been to three Super Bowls. Kurt Warner has nothing to apologize for.

Yes. Every player connected to The Rams/Arizona when Kurt Warner arrived.

And now you're on ignore, because quite honestly, I don't care to talk about some overrated WR whose longest catch on the season is 27 yards. If you want to track how long it takes ''Spiderman'' to break 30, click on the ''create a thread button'' and have at it. Because, personally, these players are only good to me, until Warner leaves. As long as Larry Fitzgerald can run the one motherfucking route that he can actually run, and do it right, he's okay in my book.

Once Kurt Warner leaves, they can suck Steeljakes one nut.

                      Now, seriously, fuck off.

No he doesn't have anything to apologize for and i have said multiple times that he is a HOF QB(alot more deserving then some already in the hall). My point is that Kurt benifited from playing on 2 teams getting ready to make a push. In Stl they brought in Faulk and Holt to go along with Bruce for Trent Green. Boldin came in as a 2nd rounder and became a top WR, but then the Cards added Fitz a player that was being touted as the next great WR.....So nuk can go on and believe that football wasn't played untill Kurt warner started....

another stat for Nuk is 16 of Kurts 24 wins has come against the NFC west...the NFC west is 105-151 since Kurt joined the cards which is 14 fewer wins then the next lowest at 119(AFC west and NFC North*had a 0-16 team*)

                          NE-146-109-1
                          NN-119-137-0
                          NS-129-127-0
                          NW-105-151-0
                          AE-129-127-0
                          AN-130-125-1
                          AS-146-110-0
                          AW-119-137-0

every division besides the Nwest had atleast 2 seasons above 30 wins which the Nwest had 0. 3 div had at least 30 all 4 season(ne,an,as). 3 div had 1 40+ win(NE,NS,AS)...

Much like Hass' thread about eating crow, I came here to make this post. I, too, would like to apologize to those of you who backed Larry Fitzgerald. After his 30+ yards on the day, it's clear that Arizona simply doesn't need Kurt Warner, to succeed. I honestly do feel like a giant ass, for making those claims.

                            I apologize, guys.

                            L M A O.

#57 and Dan Fouts will have to wait until next weekend.

                            See you guys then.
