I don't understand why TCU filled their basketball stadium up with students and went through the trouble of organizing a pep really for their BCS bid. It'd make more sense to me for them to refuse to even appear to play along with the whole process. It'd also be badass for them to just refuse to play, but I'm sure there's too much money involved.

BSU-TCU is basically just a throwaway game, it happened last year in the Poinsetta bowl and no one watched or cared. Sure this year it's a BCS game but it still isn't interesting or important.
