Sorry but the Colts SB win is not a top ten game of the decade.

        2006 Rose Bowl at #13, c'mon now.

Homer pick but Giants/Patriots has to be a top-five game at least.

Yanks/Boston, game 7 in 03 has to be higher. Hell, I'd also put the game during the summer that went into extras and had the play with Jeter diving into the stands on my list, too.

2001 World Series barely making the list?

        Try again

meh, i think the federer nadal match was one of the most epic sporting events so far... Giants pats was cool and the Colts super bowl wasnt as much about peyton winning it was more the black coach winning a super bowl.

It seems too big of a coincidence that the top of this list is what's freshest in everyone's minds. #25 is from 2000, #1 is from 2009, really?

            I'm not buying it.

It literally goes "back in time" during it's descent from #25 to #1 ONCE and that's for the game that blatantly (in my opinion) should not be there (Colts/Pats).

since it's in chronological order one might guess that it's the top 25, but not ranked 1 through 25.

                    I thought that too until I saw the Colts/Pats of 2006 at 10 and Boise/OSU at 11.

Well since it's the only one, it's either a typo or ESPN is really that lazy with this shit.

WTF lads, have you not been reading? The Colts Superbowl win is not on there, what is on there is the unbelievable game in which the Pats lead by 15 points starting the second half. Indy then tied it, lost the lead again, tied it, lost the lead, tied it, lost the lead, then won in the final minute. Beating the Patriots in the playoffs despite being essentially owned by them in this era. Game is I believe the 2nd most watched NFL game of all time, and well worth its spot on a top 25.

If I were to add my own to the list, it would be the 2009 Stanley Cup Final Game 7 in which Pittsburgh won on the road (first time in about 19 years a game 7 road win occurred) and was the first time in the series that the road team had won. Although the game itself wasn't phenomenal, the sheer magnitude of the accomplishment should put it right up there.
