Because I remembered Nuk's wise words in the past about how shitty Drew Brees' career record was when he entered the fourth quarter facing a defecit.

    Bravo once again, Nuk.
Lol same here. I kept picturing that stat in his sig.

Hell, I thought they were exposed in the Washington game... but three games in a row, including a loss, certainly isn't helping matters. I think this one matters more, because of the way they man handled Drew Brees, much like SF man handled Kurt Warner. Kurt Warner/Drew Brees do have one thing in common, you spit on either guy, and the ball is coming out.

As for homefield advantage - pfft. Arizona/Dallas/Philly/Minnesota can all beat New Orleans, at New Orleans. That secondary isn't stopping any of these offenses. Drew Brees better be ready to put up 38 points per game.

        That's right, motherfuckers, I did.

There's a misunderstanding going around these forums, that I dislike Drew Brees. Well, one thing I respect about Drew Brees, is his consistency, and he never lets me down. Drew Brees just single handily paid for next summers vacation, one I've been needing for a long time now. And for that, I send him my thanks. The forum bet? Well, when you put as much cash on a football game, as I did, a forum bet is easy, so I don't deserve any credit for that.

I know some of you have been thinking ''I bet this 10-0, 11-0 thing is killing Nuk.'' Actually, I've been pulling for the Saints since 8-0. New England was a major concern, because I needed Dallas to be the first team to beat them, so after New England failed, it was all set in motion. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that Dallas was going to win this game, but I'd be lying, if I said I wasn't a bit nervous before kickoff, because I was. Now, let me send a few shout outs.

Dallas Cowboys fans - The most cowardly bunch of trash talkers I have seen at any forum. Seriously, if any of you see any Dallas fan talking shit, send me a PM, because I don't care who it is, they're going on ignore. As far as I'm concerned, I am the lone Dallas fan here at VSN.

City of New Orleans - I haven't forgotten about you. I will donate some of my earnings to the ''Cardboard box fund,'' because I've been hearing there's a major shortage in New Orleans. And the one thing you pieces of shit deserve, is a decent place to live.

I'm not a gambling guy, so I'll probably quit while I'm ahead... However, I'd be lying if I said I'm not tempted to place enough cash against the Saints come playoff time. Hell, I'd probably be able to retire.

So, no more talk about me disliking Drew Brees, because come next summer, there's two people I will be thinking about - whoever I take with me, and Drew Brees.

Oh, and KNUBB, I'd be willing to remove you from my ignore list.. You don't have to sport an avatar, or any silly sig - all you have to do is send me a PM saying ''You were right, nuk...'' and we can go back to being e-pals, maybe even do a playoff bet. My e-go will enjoy that.

Fuckin A. Damn forum and all its damn downtime.

I think I missed this whole fiasco.

Noway I would have bet on Dallas on this. N.O and Det are 2 teams that historically have played very well against Dal. N.O being undefeated made it a sure loss in my head.

Nuke I love ya but your fuckin nuts:fighter:. Only a nut job would think that Phillips would have this team ready , and that Garrett would finally call a balanced game.

I did suspect JG would want to show up Payton. But not like this.

Bottom line...the Saints curse is real. In December ,Romo throws a few errant passes , Adams has 999 penalties , Secondary gets a little physical , Folk misses kick , Roy drops a key pass. Thats a recipe for every one of our losses. How we managed a win with all those things occuring against a 13-0 team is miraculous.

I tip my hat to you for calling it.

And before you ask..yes...yes I will accept your vacation invite.:lilbored:
Best reason to have a license.

Gambling is a fairly stupid thing to do, period, I agree. Luckily, I'm not the type of person to do it very often, unless I think I have a very good chance of winning, because my ass doesn't take losing very well. I actually made a few smaller side bets with friends and co-workers, which I'm more proud of, than the larger pay day (I'll never do this one again, btw, even after the win.) They started a pool around week 7 or some shit, about which team would be the first to down New Orleans, if any - I was the only one to take Dallas. They had a few laughs at my expense, too. I'll be sure to remind them, when I start collecting. I didn't take any part in the Indy pool, though.

Needless to say, I've been a Saints fan up until tonight.

          I can starting hating again.

If you guys even get to the NFC Title game, I'll give credit where credit is due.
this. anytime a team needs fate and miracles to win you know they have issues. i won't say i called them to lose this particular game, but i didnt feel they were better than the vikings. good call nuk, +10 for the dude in the dress.

Bushrod just needs to fall off earth right about now he was just thrown to the ground and beat like a small child by demarcus ware. I just dont know why they once again wait until the 4th to turn it on and try to win and rely on the kicker to shank a fucking kick. If we scored 14 in like 6 minutes where was that the other 54 minutes? But they just need to get in the film room and watch it to see how to stop someone like jared allen or whatever demonic rusher we run in to. Like i said in the other thread hats to dallas they played better and wanted it more.
you said in theinterview on GBU you thought dallas could do this to the saints. i think this team belived they were destnied to be great and forgot that dallas may be overrated, but they dont suck.

of all the cowboys fans, you have to be the least likely to be a homer.

I think what really sticks out is the Saints ability to run the ball. Thw whole season you hear how the Saints have finally been able to have a more balanced offense with Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell, but the last 4 games they havent done shit but because they were winning, I guess it wasnt a big deal. You cant have Drew Brees drop back and pass every play otherwise come playoff time if you cant run the ball, you wont control a game and you will lose.

I know. Im not mad or upset like most saints fans are.Like ive been saying if we started out slow against a team that can score we wont win and what happened? Our line must have thought if you touch spencer or ware you get AIDS or something becuase that was just insane. Brees' turnovers finally got to us seeing as how our D didnt want to touch the ball or make a decent tackle.

no, the saints played the same way they have been playing all year and this time their luck ran out. and just for the record, the saints didnt have to win.

now go get your shine box.

The way the Saints and their fans talked about how big this game was, I don't buy that for a second.

Fresh legs was huge for him.

Problem is Victor Butler is simply not ready to play on anything other than passing downs.

The Cowboys got a couple good breaks in the game that helped them win.
The Saints lost by a TD with a minute to go. I still think they are more of a threat in the Playoffs than the Cowboys will be.

Just for the record, I never took the team seriously to begin with. To think that team was going to go undefeated, was laughable. They're not the Colts.

After seeing them play the last few weeks, I'll be shocked if they win a playoff game, even at home. There isn't a team in the NFC playoff picture, that I would take New Orleans over.. The closest one would be Green Bay.

Saints did what I wanted them to do, now I hope it falls apart.
